Default Enterprise will go public

Yes, you read correctly! It has been leaked and is making its way around. After an expected successful merger with National/Alamo, the company will begin selling shares. Andy Taylor will retire and apparently plans are in the works for another Taylor to take the reigns.

Remember, you heard it from me first. This should become public within two months, so mark today's date and remember this bit of news.

I don't see that happening. It would be funny if it did!

Btw, I'm not registered either, but how can we remember you, if we don't know who you are? I'm just saying.... ERAC won't go public. This is a rehash of a discussion that actually did occur 3-4 years ago when they were considering re raising capital and succession planning for Jack (death tax, etc). They don't need to do it for capital anymore as they have made other plans and the Taylor's won't give up control with so many family members "able" to come on board and run things. nice rumor though; good pot stirring.

One thing this buy of Alamo/National tells us is that nothing is leaked that the upper management doesnt want leaked. Nobody saw this coming or knew about it ahead of time. So on that alone I say BULLSHIT to your post.

This shouldn't be too surprising to anyone that know ERAC well. They almost went public once before. The timing has to be right from a strength in the IPO markets.

The other issue is ability to raise capital for increasing fleet needs. As a private entity, it has to keep getting harder.
