You can also see why Corporate maintains its "distance" from the groups so it is not seen as an "Alter Ego" and cannot be sued in a situation like this. The group in questions is it's own company/subsidiary. Smart move ERAC especially when you know you are hiring rapists and pervs. __________________ "It is better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to open one's mouth and remove all doubt"-Abe Lincoln

Gosh there it is...I never believed it was untrue.....and there it is in print! I says the plaintiff won her case ...well good for her.Thank you for providing the documents! She is my new hero...it takes strength and integrity to do what she did.

After reading that entire case, i have to say there are some very smart people who put Enterprise together. The fact that the plantiff cant touch the national office is amazing. They also were able to get half the complaints dropped before trial. Does anyone know if Enterprise made a deal or if this actually went to trial?

I believe it's something like 6. After RVP for the Northeast, he was promoted to several different positions, and is now, I believe, the Senior VP for North American Operations - which basically puts him about 4th in charge of the entire company behind Andy, Don Ross, and Pam Nicholson. I've never even met the guy, but this sure makes him look a douche, doesn't it? It would figure they'd promote someone like that...matches every other impression of ERAC promotions I can remember...

I think you all misread it. The plaintiff lost. Enterprise won. In fact she brought multiple charges against ERAC and was buried on every one. Basically she didnt cry discrimination until she was fired and had no real evidence according to the court. But she lost. It wasnt close.

The plaintiff didn't lose - they simply dismissed some of the charges as not being provable on the request of both ERAC National and ERAC-RI. Four charges, in fact, were permitted to continue in her suit. This was NOT the final say in her suit, but the establishment of whether or not she had a valid suit. What we need to see now is whether or not, when this was taken to court for final judgment, she won. Her description of events sounds almost identical to events in my region (won't be mentioned which, just also in the East). Male-only sporting events with the women left behind of offered only the rest of the day off, crude comments about women, even open statements about refusing to hire women. I hope someone does take them down. They don't deserve to succeed on the backs of the women who are never considered as fully equal.
