To all the dear customers who leave their shit in Enterprise cars

(THIS IS NOT PROOFREAD AND I AM A POOR SPELLER, SORRY FOR ANY ERRORS)

Let me tell you a story...

For my birthday in 1992 my parents got me a discman cd player (the state-of-the-art electornics device of the day). One week later I flew down to visit my grandparents in Florida. Forty minutes after deboarding the plane and getting my baggage, I discovered that I had left my discman on the plane. I went back to the plane, but the discman was no where in sight -- someone walked off with it. The airline employees told me they had not seen it anywhere. I was upset and devistated. I was so angry; angry at myself for being so lacking in attention to detail. However, I was not angry or upset with the airline personnel, nor did I yell at them, or threaten them, or blame them for MY OWN IDIOTIC CARELESSNESS. I had the maturity and insight to realize I was responsible for my own belongings and their procurement. And you know what, I WAS 11 YEARS OLD!!!

So, please ERAC customers, please take care to display the attitude, perspective, and maturity that I did AS AN 11 YEAR OLD. I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR SHIT! SINCE ALL OF YOU WONDERFUL CUSTOMERS ARE SO MUCH BETTER AND SMARTER THAT THE DIMWITTED MORON RENTING YOU THE CAR (ME), YOU CAN CERTAINLY SURPASS THE REALIZATION I ACHIEVED AT AGE 11! WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE????!!!!

I'm actually a former ERAC employee, but reading these customer complaints gets me fired up.

I fully agree! If you leave YOUR shit in a rental it's not up to ERAC employees to find it and hold it for you! You know it's not your damn car so check it everywhere (glove box, under the seats, center console, etc.) BEFORE you turn it back in!

We were lucky to have a baseball bat in our office (a ghetto necessity), so anytime we wanted to blow off some steam we'd take a garage opener or two out back and take some BP.

Great idea, if your garage door opener means so much to you, take care of it people. Here's an idea, take inside for a few days while your car is out of service. Also, handicapped signs. Take care of it before an e-chimp does.

I always loved it when customers would call about 2-3 weeks after they returned a vehicle and call about their stuff. They would always be so pissed when we didn't have it sitting in our office just waiting for the owner to call about it.

I had one customer flip out b/c we threw away some directions that were printed out from mapquest, a newspaper, and a map. Why the fuck would we hang onto those?

I work at an ERAC airport location, and almost daily I have customers berate every employee, calling us "liars" and "thieves", threaten legal action (even thought the contract that YOU SIGNED states that we're not responsible for your belongings), and basically act like total dicks because they left their things in our car.

My favorite is when they eventually find their "stolen" belongings in their suitcase or pocket (dumbass) and NEVER NEVER NEVER apologize to us for accusing us of stealing it.

Assholes. Every one of them.

i had a customer who left house keys on a car key. the car got one wayd out of group. i said that i would get in touch with other branch and get them to post them.
he replied that that wasnt good enough and i would have to get a driver or get the customer to return (about 100miles), as they were his only set of house keys and he couldnt get in to his house.
i basically told him to get fucked and break a window,haha what a tosser
