Default Please help me someone enterprise problem

The booking process was good - service was good I got a good deal - but there is more to it.
Last long weekend I booked a van from Mayfield Heights - Ohio( Cleveland Eastern Subarbs). This weekend I get my credit card bill - and he trippled the charge. i booked for 24 hours - from Saturday to next Sunday - he billed me for 3 days - Friday through Monday. Enterprise policy is all refuns must be dealt with the local office. the guy was rude - he did not like I was asking for a Legit refund. After much pursuading ( why I have to work so hard - he took card extra money from my credit card - is it not a fraud) - he took my credit card number and he said he will refund. I am not sure I trust him and I will update here if he really did so.

The whole thing is a big hassel - why can I not talk to a CSR at enterprise. They are so nice while taking reservation - but when you need a mistake rectified - I need to go to the bad dude.

Any suggestions?
Thanks

IF you got the "weekend special," you got a cheaper price but you have to have it for three days or in some cases atleast 2. That's how they @#*% you on the so called weekend special. You might as well take the regular rate for one day becuase chances are that it will equal the total of the weekend special.
My advice is to ask for the area manager's phone number and bitch to high heaven. As long as you stand your gound you will get your way.

I did not take the weekend special - I took a daily rate.

If you dropped it on Sunday after hours, they would have closed the ticket out on monday giving you that extra day. Not sure why you were charged Friday, unless you were on calender day billing. What was the rate of the van?

I Worked At Enterprise For 6 Years, And The Best Thing To Do Is Go To The Area Manager And If You Gripe Loud Enough, They Will Hand You The World...

There are a couple of things that could have happened:

1. You took the daily rate and dropped it off after hours on Sunday. These tickets are closed as of 6:00 pm Sunday night, the drop box says this right on it.

2. Whoever wrote the ticket did not clearly right on it what the deal was and a different employee close the ticket, thus the confusion.

If you don't get mad about, be honest and talk to the manager about it they will likely help you out.

The other thing to do is to dispute the charge on the credit card. This will bring the issue more into play. Right now ERAC could care less because they have your money.

You returned it while the branch was closed, so the branch has a policy where they charge you until the day and time they are open again. Branch Managers will have their Area Managers chew them out for any significant losses in income over a weekend. This policy helps them maintain helps them prevent that from happening.

If they explained that up front to you or not, so long as you keep barking up the chain of command, you will get your way.

First complain to the manager. If he or she is a putz, screw going to the area manager, as they are hard to track down. Ask for the phone number to the local Group or Regional Administration office. Ask for the names of the GROUP RENTAL MANAGER, REGIONAL RENTAL MANAGER, and REGIONAL VICE PRESIDENT.

Chances are they'll give you what you will ask for and more.

And if that does not work, try to get a hold of the GENERAL MANAGER. Every management position in that company hates only one thing more than a complaining customer. A complaining customer that calls their boss and eventually wins.

Good luck.

this is what really happened!!

the MT who wrote the contract on the special put the WES as a Package on the wrong line. In instead of getting charged 1 Special for the weekend you got charged 3 for the 3 days you had the rental. Just call the branch talk to the manager or whoever again and let them know. Stay calm and be nice we deal with jerks all the time don't be one of them.

You sounded pretty normal just let them know of your concerns.
