Default A Couple of Questions for the Admin

Okay, so you've made this site. It's interesting. It's funny in some cases. It's vulgar in others.

I understand that you are a dissatisfied customer. I think you made it a little obvious. But I just don't get the pure basis of this site.

I don't understand why you would go through all of this hassle. You've done your homework. You spend enormous sums of money on it. (Even if you spent only a $100.00 on it in total, it would still be too much money in my book.) Obviously, you spend way too much time on it. You write on the FAQ that you spend a few minutes a day on it. But you spent the time and energy to actually commit to a direct mail campaign to all ERAC branches. That's just crazy!

Why are you doing it still?

And you said that you need to rent vehicles often for your job and sounds like to me that you are a pretty demanding customer. For someone who has done the research and knows the rental car industry as well as you do, why don't you understand that sometimes cars that you want just aren't available? I know you probably will reply about the dozen or so times that the bad service has happened to you to at ERAC? But that sounds like it was years ago. I'm sure the management has changed by now on Folsum Street in San Fransisco. Why not go back for one time just to see? You said that you want to return to ERAC. Is that hypocritical at this point? It seems like you almost have a bloodlust against this company because one time all they had was a truck.

I used to work at ERAC. I hated it and I left. I'm now an Insurance Adjuster. I still work with ERAC and other companies every day. I find that ERAC is actually much easier to work with than the other rental car companies. Their prices are a little higher, so we only use them when insureds/claimants request them. And they request to rent at ERAC often.

I think this is a professional site for what it is...a public discussion board. And it is amazing how far you have taken it. However, with that said, don't you think that it's time that maybe you go out and get yourself another hobby?

This site has become what it was always meant to be: A place to ridicule e-chimps.

Wow. Interesting comments. None from the Admin. Interesting.

I like the e-monkey comment. Just the same stupid type of response you can expect from most people on the board. I all ready said that I don't like ERAC. Yeah, but I eat green bananas. Whatever, dude. Close the cap on your White Out bottle and open a window.

Yeah. I wait for my pay stub every 2 weeks. I'm very poor. Thank God my Etch-A-Sketch has WIFI on it, or I wouldn't be able to read your brilliant logic.

Why do I care so much? That is my favorite response of all. It's not a matter of care, Robert, it's a matter of trying to figure it out. I don't understand why anyone would spend the amount of work, money, and energy on something like this site. It's simply ridiculous all the time that has gone into making this site. I just wanted to see if the Admin could reason it for me.

Someone wrote that the site has become so much more or bigger than just a discussion board. Come on folks. Help me out here. Really? Can you really reason that this site isn't more than just a bunch of ex-employees complaining on how the rental car industry sucks. Sure you might get a customer complaint on here now and then. But I don't think it really solves anything, except just a barrage of people agreeing that ERAC fails on customer service. If you can reason it, I would love an explanation, because I don't see it.

I know this post has a chance of getting deleted by the Admin. After all, he didn't even respond to my first post. So it probably doesn't matter. I would love to know how the other rental car companies' customer service is doing with the Admin's new business. If he has been frustrated by them, or if it has been perfect every time he has ever rented from them.

I'll admit the first time I saw this site when I was at ERAC it did infuriate me. I found that most customer complaints were over something that I had no control over. For example, a smoked out car from the previous customer. Or a mid-size reservation that doesn't want a PT Cruiser and all that I have is a selection of PT Cruisers. You try to work within your means the best you can, but usually it just isn't good enough. Especially for important corporate customers like the Admin.

Anyway, please...Mr. Admin tell me why all the fuss? I really would like to know.

my good sir, you care about this site because your whole career has been one long winded exercise in rationalization and this website reminds you of this fact.....even though you agree with every negative post on a sub-conscious level, your daily intake of "happy bullshit pills" has distorted your reality. you rationalize your existence at erac via abstract ideologies that never come to fruition....whereas, this site is a god send for people who have been lied to by ecrap.... if erac told the truth about the job description up front then there would be no website full of anger because people would be responsible for their own decision to start with a fukt up company/...They would have no one to blame but themselves....but we all know this is not the case w/erac,,,,the job is sooooo crappy they have to lie and the reaction to this lie is heavy turnover and venting on websites such as this....thanks for the voice administrator....you are loved!! p.s. If any erac employee reads these posts and seeks retribution, you have no one to blame but grandfuk andy taylor who created an atmosphere of shame, neglect, and depression...eracers have you ever wondered why upper management treats you w/such animosity....its because their higher ups are treating them like shit!!! initiatiing one big cycle of shittt!! talk about a cycle of insanity...yea lets go bald young, get fat, watch friends have fun in their careers all while being a fucking car jockey!!!

Dickhead, when you make a reservation for a car and the car agency does not have your car, the place is fucked up. This happened to admin more than once you shit for brains e-monkey. This company does this thousands of times a day across the country and has a sky-high turnover rate. Do you see any other sites like this on the internet, (besides WalMart)?
