i was in an accident, so was given an enterprise car as a replacement whilst mine was being fixed. whilst i had the replacement car, i was involved in another accident (wasnt my month), both of which were not my fault. the date of this accidntr was 11TH NOVEMBER 2007. the car was assessed by enterprise, but for a second guess, i jhad my own assessor have a look who valued the damage at £600 pounds. however Enterprise valued the damages which they claimed was "discounted" as their was no middle man, at £1200. anyway, i didnt care, as the accident wasnt my fault, i went through the prosess of paying the excess which was £600, and told as soon as they get the money back of the other insurer, should take a couple of weeeks. months past and i recieved no correspondance from enterprise what so ever, not a letter, a phone call, nothing. so eventually i called them on JaANUARY 15TH, and they told me, its almost sorted, should take another week or so. A week comes and goes and still not even a call, i repeat the process again week after week and each week, im told either, should know by the end of the week, or ill call you back tomorrow. yet still nothing. since the end of FEBUARY, i still keep calling, but now they dont even answer the phone. it just rings each time, and is even engaged at times. at no point have i been rude to them, perhaps looking backl i should of been. ive now waited 4 months, AND I STILL HAVENT RECIEVED, A SINGLE LETTER, A SINGLE PHONE CALL, AND MOST IMPORTANTLY MY £600. where do i go from here, and what do i do? im a student so am hard up as it is, and have no idea what to do. Please help me. O'B

You need to call the receptioist and ask for the Regional Vice President or General Manager. This should get the attention you need.
| |||
well not only is the persons direct line never answering, the head office one isnt answering either
| |||
Call the local branch and ask for a cell phone number of the highest supervisor possible. No need to tell them who you are or why you need the number. A cell phone may be the best bet.

will try this, only problem is that ithe car was hired from a branch in bristol, but the case is being handled "or not as the case seems" by someone in a different office, they told me in the bristol branch that it no longer has anything to do with them

The Bristol branch should still be able to give you phone numbers.

You are rught, the original office hs nothing to do with the accident. It is now in the hands of the Loss control Dept. ( whom it sounds like you have been speking with.) If the Loss Control Dept. is still pushing you off, I agree to ask for the regional VP or Area Manager's number. Get this number by asking for the Admin's tel # and they will connect you from there. Enterprise is a company that will screw anybody over if they can, but once you complain or stand up for yourself, they put their tails between their legs.

well i went to the head office, apparently the person dealing with the claim has been "sick", and someone else had taken over. not that i had been notified of this. within 10 minutes of an angry call to them and was called back, apparently it had been sorted last week, but no-one had told me, they will be refunding me my money this week! fingers crossed all sounds good, but lets wait and see!
