This vehicle had roughly 27,500 miles in 2003 when it hydroplaned on a wet road and rolled. Two new tires were put on front and bald tires left on the rear. Brakes were put on the front a well. What was Enterprises procedure and policy as to when tires would be replaced? Was it common to replace only two tires and leave worn tires on? Did Enterprise employees over ride tire shop recommendations to keep maintaince costs down?

Hydroplaning could be as much an issue of not driving in a manner safe for the conditions...

but leaving bald tires is also inexusable.

Was shown an Enterprise car with 3 different brands of tires-not counting the spare which I didn't look at. Can anybody top this? I thought that tires were supposed to be matched and that they should be replaced in pairs. Guess I was wrong when it comes to Enterprise.
