well for YOUR info: i was learning how to USE THEM when what's face left
and i liked it, i have ALWAYS wanted a computer job!! Even in my PAST JOBS, I HATED THEM for just sitting there and being ONLINE and other stuff that they did!! HATED IT!! I used to go out and ..... well.. you don't need to know, but the fact is, the higher ups would be INSIDE while i was OUTSIDE doing other stuff and this was NOT, i repeat... NOT AT ECRAP!!!

Well, this job is about ERAC, so you have to assume when you don't specify a job everyone here is going to assume you mean ERAC. I think my previous post probably applies though.

my group never allowed us to simply "rub" a credit card -- I worked 5 years fro ERAC and was BM -- I trained my people to never rub a cc -- if it would not swipe, you did not accept it, period

why?

anyone who's ever received a chargeback will tell you, if you only took a rub of the cc, then you're toast, and you're more than likely going to have to pay that chargeback -- it's all about liability, and the smart BM's reduce theirs as much as possible

you were probably an ass, and the employee told you to step -- I did that a few times myself -- It was MY branch, I was the manager, I paid rent up in there and NOBODY else -- I was not trying to leave myself open for any chargeback, that would com eoff my O.P.

you have no recourse, ERAC can refuse service to anyone
