My ways... 1) Say you work as an agent for an insurance company in your area. In Colorado if you call and say you work for Progressive, or are a Progressive insured, they will rush to get you a car, and if they don't ask for the regional manger's number and they do what ever they say. 2) When walking up to the counter tell the ERAC rep you want the full insurance and they will give you the nicest car and be more then happy to help you. Then once you have done the walk around and tell the rep you've changed your mind and you'll let your credit card/insurance company cover the car. 3) Call and tell the ERAC rep thee you got a great deal from Hertz, make up a number that seems reasonable, and they will match it if not beat it. 4) Call 800-VIP-ERAC and tell them you work for such and such company and you need to make a reservation, do this a few times until you find the best rate, ask for the corporate number and make sure to use it whenever you book a reservation.

I cannot believe you people on here bitching about Enterprise, especially you disgruntled assholes who probably quit when you realized there was actual work involved. If ERAC is soooo bad then why are they ranked #9 by Business Weekly for customer service. For the majority of ERAC employees "Customer service is a way of life!" And as for the bozo from Colorado, I'm part of gp12 and the insurance customer we are most concerned with is not Progressive but another insurance company entirely; you idiot! No we don't always have the cars for your reservations, but we do offer to take you anywhere we can and bring you your car as soon as it's available. And as an airport employee, if I don't have your car I will personally walk you to my competition whom I have probably already spoken with and made previous arrangements to get you a car at the same rate, and if they cannot match my rate my branch will make up the difference. So for all you idiots out there bitching about Enterprise and the little monkeys who run the branches, yes we are concerned with our #s and ESQI, it's people like you who cause all of the negativity in the first place, if you had just done what you had originally said you would do during you initial interview there wouldn't be a need for a website such as this. GROW UP AND GET A LIFE!!!!!!!

I was wondering if anyone can give me their employee number so I can book through enterprise as part of the family and friends discount. I had a friend who used to work for Enterprise but he doesn't work there anymore. I need to get a minivan because I'm going to Florida next week and I also wanted to get insurance but it's pretty pricey. If anyone can help me out, please let me know. Thanks and have a great wekend!

I recommend telling your e-monkey upon return that you found pornography or used condoms in the car, make them write off full days for the best effect. __________________ "Now there's only 3 things in life I need Money, safe sex, and a whole lot of weed"

The best way that I have found is to go to the website and make a reservation for a few months further out than when you are travelling. You will find the rates much lower, as they generally raise the rates about one month out. It used to be computerized on a matrix that the managers had to activate to adjust the rates (can anyone confirn that now??) You then have a reservation number that you can give to the E-chimp. They RARELY (if ever) check the reservation date (especially at busy airports), as the reservation # will pull up all your pertinient information, and they are usually concerned with getting you processed and selling that DUB. And if they question you, you say, "Boy, I made the reservation with your National Reservaiton people. They must have gotten the dates mixed up, because here I am."
