we rented a piece of shit cobalt (it had 200 miles on it) but it was still a crap car coming from an XKR. Anyhow, we would go 100mph and stand on the brakes coming down a huge hill no less. Make sure you dont lose control doing this -- I wouldnt, but a newbish driver could easily. I went 25 in reverse and slammed it into drive, something we did all the time to rentals in the 90s ford exploders you could rent...that doesnt work on these newer cars apparently. It just went into neutral and waited until you stopped and then it would engage. Also you can leave the e-brake on the whole trip. We did that. It was annoying seeing the light and the dinging, but just turn up the radio a notch. We ran the car at 4000rpm in neutral (limited at that) until it ran out of gas. The tank had 50% in it before this. We called it the "reliability test" of the ecotec motor. lol.

I once had a stupid ass Jap customer put diesel in a car by mistake. The car would not run as it fouled up the spark plugs. Other than that, it didn't do any damage, but you couldn't drive the car. Driving a car real fast and riding the brakes, wow, how original. Try blowing one up or something, oh, and grow the fuck up you loser.

Someone one placed a gallon of milk under the spare tire in the trunk and noone noticed it of course until the stank became unbearable. It totally ruined the car as no matter how much air freshener or car washes it never came out.

Rent a new truck for one day, and take off all tires and replace them with tires that have 50,000 miles on them. The e-chimp will never notice, and that is a good deal considering $400 at least a tire. This will hurt them good.

Hmmm, How about this one... Just dont use their service anymore? What do you really get out of trying to distroy cars? They do have insurace, it can be replaced. All your really doing is hurting the next guy thats renting when the car suddenly messes up while in use.

Buy the full insurance then key the shit out of the car. Tell them it happened it a parking lot. You don't pay anything, and they get stuck with a several thousand dollar paint job. Put a dead fish inside the dashboard. They'll never find it and the smell will be unbearable. Drain all the oil out of the car right before you return it. Next time they drive it, the whole engine will lock up. Very expensive.

No, actually they DON'T have insurance. No insurance company will cover a rental company's fleet. It would be an incredibly stupid business decision from their end. Enterprise is "self-insured", meaning that they get permission from the proper authorities to operate their cars without insurance. Any repair costs for their cars come directly from Enterprise's money, NOT the insurance company's money. |
