Umm... my group rents Prius.

This a great forum to talk to other ERAC employees, and its really nice how these idiots try to create controversy by bringing up non-issues. This is all in the hopes that Andy finally buys these morons off. It's never going to happen. But hey, we all LOVE the fact you created a great site for all of us employees to socialize. You must be new to ERAC, or new to this site, or likely just became a manager and finally have internet access in your life. It's a great invention isn't it? I can only assume someone who is new and naive enough to make such a ridiculous post must have been busting it on the front line, with no life and no time to live in the real world. This site has been around for a while now. It is not new, but you are. Feel free to post here again, after you've had time to mature and grow up. Are you looking forward to your "free" pizza lunch Friday as you scramble to find cars that don't exist, leave the branch and the end of the day with no self esteem, and hit the bars on the weekend with the ERAC crew 'cause you're all too broke and withdrawn to buy a round of beers. And to top it off, get rejected by every chick in the bar after you tell them you rent cars for a living.

Better yet, I hope you're just posting this to get a rise out of people, because no one with any common sense or half a brain would humiliate themselves by standing by this company.

I'm an ex-erac assistant manager, yes I was fooled for four years, but I still rent from erac b/c it is so easy to get a cheap rental.

I flew into Vegas a few months ago, and it was hard to relive the experience that I was so familiar with.

At the airport counter, they tried to sell me up. I always book an ecar online, to get that sweet $12/day rate. I know they are ranked on sellup dollars, and will usually give me an suv or lux car for 5-7 dollars more per day.

Anyway, The rep tells me that because of my height, I won't be comfortable in the aveo that he has, and that it doesn't have power features. I ask if it has a/c, since it is 100 degrees outside. He says yeah, but he can put me in a standard size car for $10, its a prius. I look at him with incredulity. A prius is a mid-size car? No thanks, I say and proceed to the garage.

In the garage, I end up getting a CTS for $6 more per day. I keep it for one.

Chevy's line of cars is aveo,cobalt,malibu,impala....if the impala is midsize what the fuck is a malibu and all the others. Go fuck yourself I hate idiots like you.

We don't have a lot of the hybrids because just there are wait lists to purchase them as a regular consumer toyota would lose money on the sale to enterprise becuase of the volume discounts we recieve.

I work in remarketing we are starting to get more of them becuase the demand is decreasing

Plain and simple, ERAC can't get as good a deal on them as other cars.

We buy cars in bulk that dealers are having trouble moving, and get amazing deals on them. Toyota has NO problem moving the Prius, thus ERAC has to pay close to MSRP on them.
