1) I had a rez, and ERAC had no car.
2) The bitch was rude and inconsiderate to me, I said nothing to her offensive or impolite
3) It took 2 hrs. to get a car and it wasn't even the car I wanted

As a somewhat loyal reader of the F.E. Discussion Boards I must say I almost fell out of my chair when I read this. This is the first time that I support what Tailfins has posted. In fact, I've even gained a little bit of respect for him. It is refreshing to know that despite all of the insane things he has claimed to have said and done when picking up ERAC rentals, he understands that ERAC exists to provide safe, reliable transportation delivered by a courteous and efficient sales rep and that's it. Unless you need a specialty vehicle for a specific reason, it is laughable to complain that the car is not exactly what you expected. So what if you get a Ford Taurus instead of that Toyota Corrolla you thought you would get?...it's a freaking rental car!!! Props to you Tailfins! (I really can not believe I just said that!)

It's obvious that you don't know what you're talking about. A simple washing won't do! A glass replacement job costs $2,500, interior another $2,500, odds and ends, still another $3,000. This stuff takes time and money. Yes, it CAN be driven mid-restoration because the mechanicals are pretty good. However, when a cheap rental is available, progress on the restoration triples.

Let's take it easy on the "cunt" and "whore" comments. I want to keep the focus on peoples' work performance.

Some of the attitudes were spawned by customers....Let me clarify.
I go pick someone up who has a wrecked/needs fixed car and suddenly I become a target for their frustration and anger.
I'll take someone back to the bodyshop and they discover that the paintjob isn't to their liking and I have to go back and put them in a car and become the person they vent on because the bodyshop hosed the job..
Those are just a couple of examples where we are providing a service and then get treated like dirt and we have NOTHING to do with fixing their car.

Read the 1st three posts of this thread and you'll begin to understand the immense frustration some employees feel.
