| I just has this situation on Saturday...December 23rd. (While I still have quite a drive to get back to my family for the holidays) My location closes at 1pm. We had a very very busy 12 oclock hour, so i called everyone and asked then if they wanted to come in earlier I would start their charges at 1pm. I spoke to this customer and he said he would be there shortly, and i reminded him that we close at one. He said he was on the way. well at 12:55 he called again to say we was on the way. I locked up at one and low and behold at 1:10 someone was bangin on the door. I met this customer with not one ounce of respect. He said he was here for his reservation....I noted yes, while we were OPEN. I dont know if it is an international thing that time is not an issue but we have this problem a lot. I told them "i think it is extremely disrespectful that you show up after we close and over an hour late for your reservation." They of coarse has a rez for an ecar..and guess what they got? An Aveo...they looked at me with disgust and asked me if there was another compact car.......well that is not what you reserved...you reserved a ecar and that is what i have for you. My lot is bone dry bc it was a holiday weekend. I told them no, you reserved this, this is what you are getting. take the fuckin aveo and like it. I told them, if you dont want and Ecar---dont reserve it. Ohhhh and how about come on time bc now it is about 1:45 and I would like to get on the road to see my own family. __________________________________________________ ______________ between the hours of 8 & 6 I will give you GREAT customer service....however after that you are on my clock. |

| The office I worked at was across the street from the University. We have few Middle Easterners who rent cars form us on the weekends. They never show up on time, they are usually hours early or hours late. All they wanted was the 9.99 WES. Sometimes they wold not show up at all we would call them and they would say they would not need car. Then come in hours later saying they changed their mind and want the car.We wold tell them you cancled and said you did not need it.they did not understand why there car was not here!!. One day this middle eastern lady reserved a car for 1pm. 1pm she is not here,I call her home number, cell number, left v/m on both numbers. she shows up at 3:30 and wants her car. I said your res was for 1 pm, not 3 pm. She started screaming at me in arabic, I started screaming at her in Russian cussingh her out,LOL(from College) She said it was very important that she get a car, she was going to a job interview.I asked her if she was late for her job interview wouldl the person still give her a interview.She looked at me and said yes because they asked me to come there...yea right. I told her to call the company she had an interview with and ask them to reschedule, she said that I needed to do that for her and that it was my mistake. Yeah, right. Almost all of our corp accounts expected us to have cars ready for them at 5 am or after 6 pm because they had a busy scedule and could not come to the office. I had one of our corp accounts who was to cheap to get the car on Christmas eve ask me to come in late christmas day so he could get his car and leave early the next morning. I said NO! I too would come in early in the morning to get ready for the day. Customers would bang on the door wanting to get there car. I wold go ahead and write the ticket up for them, then I would say, well yuor res was for 8 am. I dont have the car here/clean, gas, etc. If yuo come back at 8 I wil have it ready for you, dumb ass. I rent cars |

| Amen!! I gotta wonder why customers treat us like they do. They would not do it to an airline, or a restraunt, or a doctors office--so why us? Upper management has left us wide open to getting FUCKED all day long. If we did not allow customers to treat us like shit, this would not happen. But bc upper management thinks that we have to earn our strippes we have to tolerate blaten disrespect. It is 50% the customers fault and 50% upper management. This does include net rez-for letting someone book a rez at 6pm. I fuckin hate this company sometimes. |

Its hilarious......I sit at work at openly talk to other coworkers about how we all are going to quit, I make jokes to management ( they think I am kidding) little do they know...................I am about to peace the fuck out-----Oh and they'll ask 'll me to stay and I will say hey if I want to be a taxi bitch I'd join yellow cab, if I wanted to deal with foreigners who dont speak an ounce of english all day I would work for immigration, If I wanted to clean cars all day I would go down the street to a fucking real car wash, and if I wanted to make jack shit....oh wait i do |

| I had a guy that had a reservation on Friday at 3pm for an LCAR I have a caddy I have been holding onto tooth and nail all day just waiting for him. 3:30 rolls around and he still hasn't shown up. When I called him he said yes I still need the car, be there in about a 1/2 an hour. 4:30 comes still not there, the whole city is screaming tight and I want to rent his car so I called him again, he says Yes I still need the car and can you quit harrasing me, I'll get there when I get there. Needless to say I got off the phone thinking What a prick. Now 5:30 comes and another guy walks with no res and the only car I have left is the Caddy. He was cool about it understood he had no res and was ready to leave. I tell him listen if you want to wait until 6 if the other guy doesn't show it's yours. He sat in the office with us shot the shit and was overall a really nice guy. 6 hits, I rent him the Caddy. 6:15 I am walking back into the office and guess who pulls into the lot. You got it Mr Prick himself. The ass starts screaming at me when I tell him that is his car pulling out now. Sorry we were closing you weren't here. One of the best moments of my life was the look on his face when I told him he was out of luck, closed the door and locked it on him. |

When ever I went to admin and saw upper management I always you to say to the people around them: "OH your still with the company" Its a joke. They do such a good job making people believe. Its such a big lie that you think some of it must be true. Do you realize that if you took the last 4 years of employees that joined ERAC, not counting any "new recruits" that came in the last six months because they don't know the company, but if you took The percentage of the last 4 years of employees that are still working...you would find that there was a higher percentage of people that made it off the Arizona before it sank on pearl harbor, and there was even a higher rate of survival of the people that made "the charge of the light brigade." There is almost a higher survival rate for the people in the Alamo, but you would have to include the women and children before they were attacked. |
