Default A Satisfied Enterprise Customer

I have renting with ERAC for years now. The one time I had to deal with a useless employee, the manager fixed it immediately. While I give general consumer advice, I think Enterprise has no more consumer problems than the average corporation. I will continue renting from ERAC and recommend it to others.

I like Robert's posts, but really resent my posts being deleted in spite of being 100% within the forum rules. I recently visited Cuba, it reminds me of this forum. If I want that type of treatment, I can visit www.democraticunderground.com or www.juventudrebelde.cu !

As a customer:
ERAC - thumbs up
FE - thumbs down

so your the statistical anomolay...

maybe you are missing the point of this board, it may have started as a complaint site but has evolved into a nice forum for all the employees that want to to vent. For the employees that work there and are mostly sober a common thread runs thru everything (and I speak from a ton of time at "E"), upper management has in the past and continues to this day offer little if any support, guidance and training to those on the front line. Employee development is also non existant. The company has no worthwhile internal system for addressing pressing issues (and these issues have been around for at least the last 10 years+). Counter employees bear the brunt of what occurs, recieve barely adequete compensation and hours that at any other company would warrent true overtime pay (no some hinkey slight of hand that "E" uses). They face a charity drive that in a majority of groups can determine your promotability. Then comes XMAS and the company doesnt even pay them the courtesy of a worthwhile XMAS gift or bonus (like so many large companies do). Trying to defend a private venture that abuses their employees as Enterprise does is sad. Good for you if you get "great customer service" but the behind the scenes cost should make you feel like you are buying blood diamonds from south Africa.

Honey, that's all true but I still get a Weekend Special rental car from those dildos every Friday! And I return it trashed out, too. Because I can, that's why.

You obviously don't understand that different companies can employ different, and effective, business models in regards to hiring and employee development. ERAC's business model is to hire a bunch of motivated college kids with no skills (that therefore they can pay little) and promote them up through the company. Since they enter with little skills and they hire a lot, they realize that most will not advance. ERAC is not only fine with this but WANTS this. ERAC realizes the unmotivated and dumb ones will quit as well as the smarter ones. That leaves them with a small group of motivated employees who were probably nowhere near the top of their class. That's how they wind up with Area Managers that can't spell. However, ERAC mainly wants motivated people that are personable and can create new business. That's how they're the number one car rental company and crush their rivals. My theory is the smaert ones move on to better jobs and the dumb ones complain on failing E.

Too bad honey. And you don't say that when I'm picking up my car every week, you kiss my black ass!

No go back to washing cars, hon.
