| This is completely true and this is what happened to me. I wrote this email to the President of Enterprise: My name is (Left out for privacy) and I have rented cars from you location at the Martin Cadillac car dealership in West Los Angeles On 7 occasions. When I was at the Enterprise location last week. I backed a rental car (2006 Chevy Tahoe) into a smaller car I couldn't see. The tail light lens was the only damage on the Tahoe. I walked back over to the Enterprise office when I met with a male black employee. (I apologize that I have to refer to him that way because I don't know his name and he is the only black one there) On the way walking back to the office, I told him that I am sorry for being so much trouble today. He responded with "You ARE a lot of trouble!" (Referring to THIS or to the 3 recent times I rented a car because I have been in 3 car fender benders lately - bad luck i guess) I kinda let that go because I figured that he doesn't like his job when it has things he doesn't like to do. I asked this same employee if he is going to be the one that helps me, he said: "I'LL HELP YOU, ALRIGHT!" (This was said in a VERY obviously threatening tone) I just wrote this off as an employee just being arrogant and I just wanted to get another car and get out of there. I offered to go get a tail light from the parts department of the GM dealer at the Enterprise location and the employee refused to allow that, saying it's not Enterprise policy. So I signed quickly to get out of there because this guy obviously doesn't like me because I caused him to say a few minutes after the office was supposed to be closed. I was totally willing to just ignore his insulting and threatening verbiage. When I went the Martin Cadillac GM dealership to look for another vehicle, I passed my the Enterprise office there and this Black guy and Employee Sean B. Smith was there and the black guy said something as they looked at me and laughed at me after the black guy had said something. They were all looking at me when it happened and the black guy was pointing at me. Now, the Enterprise Loss Department called me on the phone threatening to sue me for these damages that I was telling her I didn't do. She said that the estimate is now $800. I immediately suspected the black guy for damaging the car after I left to "take care of me" like he said. I also suspect one of the two body shops for maybe causing more damage where they say the bumper was "scuffed" because that is what body shops do. (I know this because I am an Auto Club employee in the Contract Stations relations department and My Brother is a Manager for Progressive Insurance and He WAS an Auto Club Employee previously in the Insurance Claims department) The reason I tell you this is because I want you to know that I really know what I am talking about when it comes to these things. The Attitude of your employee was UN-acceptable. If one of MY employees said 2 things in a row like that and one that could be perceived as a threat, I would terminate his employment on the spot. The Manager of the Martin Cadillac body shop was also there and heard this black man say these things and I was also there with my wife, so you don't have to take MY word for it. I called the Enterprise Office at the Martin Cadillac location at (310) 820-1030 and I spoke with someone who said their name is Molly and that she IS the Manager of that location. I gave her my insurance company name and policy number and told her to tell the loss department at my insurance company, not me. (I have a feeling that they already did and when Mercury found out that the pictures that mercury's body shop were taken the next day after I left when I am claiming only the taillight was damaged, they told your people that it isn't covered) Let this be a lesson in Enterprise ever tries to "do ya" for damage. I am an honest person and I pay my bills. If I break something, I fix it. I am a person of means and the price of a tail light is not the point here. I will gladly pay for what I broke but this car I rented at over 10,000 miles on it and it was scuffed everywhere, previously. I would recommend the immediate dismissal of this employee based on this documented letter of his UN-acceptable behavior. I have never been treated this rudely by any place of business in my entire life and I am 41. I am not sure that the Auto Club of Southern California can continue your status as an "approved rental car agency" is this is not handled. I will complain personally. (I work in the department that approves places of business for he Auto Club of Southern California Members and I cant wait to get back to my office tomorrow morning. I called the Regional Manager, David Ellis at 310 445 1034 about this and he is not returning my calls. Please handle this. (This is the letter that I wrote to the President of Enterprise.) Another consumer hint that I can give you people that read this is that if a company has a big website, like Worserprise, you can look at the business card of a regular employee and see the format that the email addresses are in, then you can write the president. For example, I have the business card of an employ there and its like hugh.g.rekshun@erac.com. then I went the Worserprise rent-a-scam website and I clicked on the "about us" page and found out the name of the President and used the same format to write and email and it didn't bounce, so that means it went through. One of these guys is going to be a smart ass to someone with violent tendencies and he's going to probably get his ass kicked some day by someone, who knows. I never try to kick anyones ass because I have a permit to carry a gun and if there is ANY complaint to the state of stuff like that, they will pull that permit so fast, it would make heads spin. So I actually have to be calmer that usual people but I would have loved to kick this guys ass. I hope this post helps the group, website and it's readers. I'm pissed to say the least. __________________ LAzyPD = LAPD - The laziest police department. |

and privates never get that worked up over some petty damage, really what do they have to lose? if this would've been me as the black guy, it wouldn't have even ruffled a feather, just some minor damage, who gives a fuck? she has ins either: 1. she's lying or exaggerating or 2. the black dude is a piss poor employee who should be canned |

i think portions of this story are true and others are severly slanted in the author's favor. i'd give it 50/50. seriously, how hard would it be to call the branch to get the guy's name? if this went down exactly as described, he would have been angry enough to get names. but no, he's just the black guy. how angry could he be? |

| Sounds to me like you're just a shit-ass driver who shouldn't be allowed to drive or rent cars anywhere. I can loan you a pair of my stilts to get around, but I'll need 'em back in time for the Independence Day parade. __________________ Cheer up: Uncle Sam is back. |
