Default Those who dont learn from history.....

A great saying. Those who dont learn from history are doomed to repeat it. How many times do you have to get hit before you stay down??? Really guy....if its such a miserable experience, enough to dedicate a website too, perhaps you do have plenty of time to wait around the business for a car. If someone screwed me more than three times in a row, then I would go somewhere else. I guess this guy is a glutton for punishment....or perhaps just plain stupid.

Actually would have to disagree with you there- I bet that the Administrator has enough free time in his real, non-rental job to be amused by ERAC's complete lack of competence. I personally wouldn't want to give ERAC any more of my money, but there's always ways to make sure it's well spent.
If I were Admin I would become such a handful when renting that the fear of a bad ESQI score would have them massaging his balls every time

I guess its a rental car thing but you never did address my point. If you are that stupid to keep using a business that cant get its business right, then you deserve what you get and shouldnt complain. Would you keep eating at a resturant that never gets your order right or keeps giving you food poison???

My point is take control of your own business and use another vendor. Its that simple. But apperently you would rather keep getting abused just to have something to get mad about. Good luck with that.

As a business owner myself, I have had certain customers that constantly complained about service issues. After they have complained about the service my company provided more than three times in a short amount of time, I suggest they use another vendor. Some do, never come back and thats good for me because thats one less headache. Most however, try another vendor and come back to me because I offer a good product with superior customer service......most of the time.
My second point.......some people are never happy and secretly love the drama. This guy seems to fit the profile. He would rather complain and complain than fixing his problem by using another vendor. Good luck with that one also.

I can understand how you might question a customer who keeps going back for more in the face of such bad service.

However, I addressed this issue specifically on the main page of the web site under an FAQ labeled "So Why Do You Keep Renting From Enterprise Rent-A-Car?" I give several good reasons.

Did you read this?

Also, I genuinely hope they will improve things there. From what I read about the company founder, things didn't used to be this way, and they need to get back on track.

Default Addressed issues......not really

Yes....I did read you reasons for continuing to use Enterprise and I believe your excuses are bunk and probably self-serving. To what end, I can only guess.

Lets look at your reasoning for continuing to use Enterprise:
1) "Its a short walk....my time is valuable and the initial convience is worth a lot". Doesnt quite hold water. If your time is so valuable, why did you repeatedly waste your time with a company that continually disappointed you? If your time is so valuable, why the effort here?? It takes considerable time to construct and maintain a website. Not to mention you are posting in the middle of the day. Time doesnt seem to be a true concern with you.
2) The staff at the rental office are young, try hard, and seem genuinely concerned. Nice try, but again that is pure crap. There is this local grocery store just 10 blocks away from me. The staff there is the best. They always went out of their way for me. However, they dont always carry alot of the items I want and many times they run out of what I need. I stopped shopping there. I didnt continue to go there time and time again complaining loudly about customer satisfaction. I certainly didnt invest time and money into a website because they continually disappointed me. I just drive ten minutes further away to a larger store where they have want I want, when I want it. Try again Admin, that doesnt float.
3) "The problems are systemic.....just a fluke." I'll say it again. Unless you are just stupid, why would you keeping going back to a place where you are continually disappointed. It doesnt make sense. A rational person wouldnt. Three or four times I could understand........but twelve???
4) The admin is an optimist. More like a sadist. Do you just like to be abused or do you like to just be plain cruel when you get the opportunity??

I have no vested interest in Enterprise or any other rental car company. I dont care if they fail or succeed. I do suspect however, that there is more to the Admin than meets the eye. I wouldnt be surprised at all if the Admin were paid by a competitor. The Democratic and Rebublican partys are both indirectly sponsoring end-run webpages. Why not this guy?? Its the new way.

I surmise you are not who you say you are, your not a very good business person or you are truly an idiot. Just my guess.

Default Dosequis is an idiot

This site is a multi purpose forum designed to vent your frustrations about a particular company that seemed to out grow it's founding values. Another purpose of this site is to discuss certain topics pertaining to the company and the products and services they provide. Yet another purpose is to talk about the lack of such services and the lack of quality products they provide. 90% of the posters here and almost 95% of the posts themselves involve the company in question. On a few posts, people mention not renting from this company and giving a competitor a chance but for the most part the purpose of this site is clearly labeled on the main page and described here in my post. The administrator is not with the competition and what he is doing is not a waste of time. Prior to the INTERNET people had to accept things when they were wronged by a big company like this one. Sure they could spread word of mouth opinions but the comments hardly ever got past their circle of friends. This method could certainly put a damper on small local business, but where this company is not only nation, it's world wide, this forum is hopefully the right shot in the arm that the company needs. Look at the hit list, over 30,000 visitors since it was started in March, you do the math. The problems within this company are worldwide and many, many people have been affected and taken advantage of. This platform is our outlet to vent our frustrations toward the activities of this company. It is our opportunity to practice FREE SPEECH! Do you know your rights Dos Equis or as your tag name indicates, are you a border jumper? Regardless of what you are, what you are not is correct by passing judgment on something that is well beyond who you are. This site has purpose, and the time spent created was put to good use and not wasted. Hopefully with the support of me and a large number of other people, 29,999 and counting to be exact. The big company that we are commenting on will be forced to understand that things are going wrong with them, and what some of their offices are doing just isn't right. Once they realize this, and take strides to fix it, we will stop commenting on them. Until then, get used to us being around.

You made me laugh outloud. First you tote the right to free speech and then you condemn me for exercising mine. Next you accuse me of entering this country illegally just because of my screen name. Very cute. I bet you are a real hit if you work in a company that employs a multi-cultural staff. Just to let you know I was born in the midwest and my screen name has nothing to do with my heritage or choice in beer, although it is a well known fact that "BrouCzech" is the worlds worst beer not "Dosequis".

I am curious about one thing. Since its pretty obvious that Enterprise employees have discovered this site since they are openly posting the fact, I wonder how many of the impressive (sarcasm) 30,000 hits have been from curious Enterprise employees?? And since the company is worldwide how many employees do you think that would be?? I think if you subtracted the employee hits from the actual general public hits you wouldnt be so impressed.

Lets boil this all down to the single mission of this website. To trash the name and image of Enterprise. Well, I hate to say it but you failed. I came accross this forum because I was attempting to make a reservation with Enterprise. Out of curiosity, I came here to see what could make someone so mad at a company to create a website dedicated to its demise. As I read more and more, I see this site is fueled more by hate from ex-employees than by any real facts. I see a few lawsuits and state investigations, but no more than you would find from Wal-Mart, Ebay, Wells Fargo or any other national company.

The bottom line: I made my reservation anyway. I called from my hotel, got picked up, rented my car (upgrade), returned and was dropped off. I dont expect perfection from a business because its run by people and as most of us know people are not perfect. Its those of us who expect computer-like perfection from people that have to yell to the heavens that life is not fair only to hear the timeless reply....."get use to it."

Last....to you my dear 6figures6years.....I dont think when you joined the custodial staff at Enterprise, they ment you would make the 6 figures in 6 years. They were talking to the rational, hard-working, non-bigots within the company.

Bravo Dos, my thoughts exactly. The Admin must be the most total idiot ever to rent a car. Im sure he complains about his breakfast every morning. "My time is valuable"!!!! This line is classic. Ive rented cars many times and happen to think enterprise is the best. All rental companies have similar problems, but when it comes to convenience, andowning up, and making up for there shortcomings, enterprise stands above the rest. I can only feel sorry for people like Admin. They have to live with themselves. Truly Sad that there are people out there who are like this. He may be a Sadist. But the truth is probably that he needs to pass some of his miseries on others. Just sad.

You can believe what you want, dont really care. It takes only about ten minutes to read the home page. It took me less than fifteen minutes to read the postings and it took me all of 5 minutes to type my last response. Your little war is of no consequence to me. Enjoy it. Relish it. I surmise the Enterprise folks are laughing at you right now......hell, I know I am.

Let me give you a hint about my job. I spend about 6 hours a day on a computer and it has something to do with software. If you try really hard it might come to you.

My job and educational background (6 year degree...I'm not a dumb as you sound) allows me a tremendous amount of free time to look around and, in this case, make fun of a bunch of hotheads spoiling for a fight they can not possibly win. Ask the folks that have been complaining to Ebay about Paypal for two years now. And those guys have three anti-paypal websites.

The best advice I could offer is to seek professional help.
