When you wake up in the morning. I mean to say, when you are jolted out of bed by your alarm at 5:45; hungover, under-rested, over-worked, and under-paid, how do you justify working at Enterprise Rent A Car?

Sure, some you have families, bills, obligations, etc.... But how do retain any shred of pride or happiness working at Erac?

Constantly listening to "managers" like Bill, or Toner,or any other of the has-beens that have peaked out at thier personal potential..... pour sugar coated s&** in your ear about sales expectations, quotas to meet, deadlines, promotions, etc. Just dangling that cheese for all the newer 22 year old employees to aspire too. I honestly feel very bad for them.

Even looking back at my "career" at Erac, where I spent ALL of my time making money for other people than myself(selling bullcrap insurance that your brainwashed -to -believe-in- to old ladies and dolts in the general public willing to pay for it)(even though they have thier own expensive insurance they pay each month!). I spent my day listening to arrogant, narrow-minded, "business-men", who cared nothing about me except what amount of money I could produce for them. F***ing spending 55 hours wasting my time each week-ruining personal relationships, ruining friendships, never going out and enjoying the awesome city I live in( Ash-vegas baby!!)

Besides learning a great deal about handling ALL kinds of people, I barely learned anything at Erac beyond how to tie a double windsor in my tie.

I encourage anyone who reads this: Go back to SCHOOL!! Educate yourself.
Don't take part in such a GREASY business. Give back to society in a meaningful way. Don't let your talents be wasted at Enterprise. Don't buy in to thier "dream", it is load of sh**, and this website is living proof.

Please, please, please, please............

live up to your potential!

My life is SO much better now.

Education jobs for current or former ERC employees

Good morning.

I'm a headhunter in the education and education technology sector. I have 8 positions to fill in Denver and former ERC employees have done well in these jobs. Earning is generally higher, work-life balance is better, there are more options for advancement, and you'll never have to wash a car again.

I'd love to talk to anyone who is interested ASAP.

What happens to the UK cars once they get de-fleeted?

Hi,

Im ready to jump ship from ERAC but before I leave my husband has come up with an idea to try and get a good deal on a used car (we are in the UK).

Im not getting on well within my branch and to be honest they know I am ready to leave, so are closing out most information that I dont need to know about from my system - also getting me to man the phones and wash the cars, with little else...

SO my question is, where do our cars go to once they come off fleet? Who do I need to speak to about buying one as we dont seem to retail them anywhere as they do in the USA?

Does anyone have any experience buying from the company directly and what prices should I expect to pay?

Thanks in advance x

This site is dead, I guess everyone moved on. Thats whats up, but I do like coming on and reading the old post. Man, I miss those first months at ERAC with all the free food...and thats about it, what a terrible place to work. Very unethical, its funny that when people quit, they loose weight, their skin clears up, and they have time to live life and go see a dentist.
