First off...I didn't give to UW because they are not run well in the old county that I used to work in. They were all over the news for embezzlement. So I should hand them a big chunk of my hard earned money why exactly????

A small group of us did not want $$ taken from out paychecks. At no time did they say they weren't giving anything.

After I left ERAC I did my research and felt it was ok for me to give in a different county. I NEVER at anytime blamed ERAC for me not giving. Actually if you take a moment to reread my post you will see that I do give a little at the quarterly meeting.

My whole point which you may have missed is that I was sick and tired of the company "highly suggesting" things. Especially when "Highly Suggesting" to management means "manditory". When you "highly suggest" what I do with my paycheck that is when I have a problem with the whole deal. **side note-my old manager also highly suggested in my review that I spend my non-paid lunch hour with people other than the people I normally spent it with. I was friendly with an ARM and the same manager told me I couldn't have a non-business lunch with her because she was a level 2 and I wa a level 1. Maybe that may shed some light on why the whole concept kills me. What kills me even more is that the company kept bugging and harassing the employees because no one wanted money deducted from their paychecks.

Default Holiday party

It is now mandatory that all members of the "management team" in our Area go to the holiday party going forward. Ah, the dance continues.

For just $1 a day in IPC, you can feed an ERAC employee.

Default Your area is behind the times

We had to do that for years...even at the phony position of M.A. they made me go. I essentially found all the people I needed to see (ie the area, regional, RVP, ect.) in the 1st 15 minutes then bailed. They were all either drunk or well on there way so as long as they remember seeing you once its all good.

I worked in group 32 and everyone is forced to donate. I think the area managers get brownie points based on how many of their employees give up their 7 bucks a paycheck. I did it the first year then the second year I told him to go screw.
