knocked off work today at 1030am

ahhhh, friday and i'm outta work at 1030 pst.
it was too fuggin hot and the boss was like see yeah go home
already got 40hrs for the week.
great being able to enjoy a summer friday, never sniffed a friday afternoon while at erac. that was our biggest day, all the assholes ins people needing rides back to the shop between 4-630pm.
the one or two times in my erac tenure that i had to schedule a friday off, it was a big deal, like i was going on a week vacation.
now i never work past noon on friday, and i don't have to use my vacation time to do so.
i just wanted to share this, such a small pleasure but it feels like a blowjob from jessica alba after slaving away at erac.
if you think about it, ERAC employees are ideal candidates for other companies. it doesn't take much to make us happy after what we've been through. 40k 40 hrs a week feels like winning the lotto.
for those out there still stuck in the rental rut, have faith and patience, it will pay off!

not that it is glorious or anything, but for construction company around portland
40k to start was 8 more and ten hours less than i was pulling as a MA
and the stress is soo much less, people actually enjoy their jobs
you know erac sucks when you go from the supposed white collar position to a blue collar position that pays a lot more for less hours worked

GOOD FOR YOU! Doesn't it feel great to be free from ERAC? I am still in car rental, but not with ERAC. I, like you, only work 40 hrs. a week now. If I want OT, I can CHOOSE to work it. I often CHOOSE to work OT because it not only pays time and 1/2, but it gives me another day's worth of opportunities to sell coverage, upgrades, GPS, etc. and get killer commission checks for it.
