The bad part about going "postal" is that it is very likely that an E-mpolyee would do this if they had a gun. Stressful job= stressed out employee. Gun+stressed out employee= bad news.

I don't mind guns, but ya gotta think about the atmosphere and the scenarios that may occur. If I thought I needed a gun to protect myself at a retail job, I would quit. ......and I did.

Unfortunately, she will have to get used to those 90 degree days abandoned at the side of the road....it happens ALL the time! I agree that it is probably better than being stuck in the office with 20 reservations and no cars, but it SUCKS none-the-less...especially for a women to be stranded ont he side of the road. I would be pissed off too if It were my wife.

When I droppped off a car someplace and it took ages for somebody to pick me up, I'd just walk around, find a shop or something, called my colleague and told them to pick me up there. Once I had to wait for 1 1/2 hours. I went got lunch, sat in some park and enjoyed the sun.

only people like policemen, PIs, and repo men should carry on the job. I know some truck drivers who don't carry, but leave their piece in their glovebox. If you're doing a repo in a shady area, theres no reason to carry a gun. If theres any reason to believe you need a gun, you call the fucking police and have them escort you. Good plan..but what if they actually do get the gun from you? I assume you don't carry it cocked and ready to fire holding it outward with two hands wherever you walk...Guns don't kill people...many of the morons that buy and own guns kill people. because this fool is obviously from Texas or Oklahoma or some other god awful state. This may sound foreign to most of you but in conceal and carry states, some institutions, ie restaurants, libraries, universitys have signs on the doors with guns x'ed out like the old no smoking signs. I didn't believe it until i saw it myselt at Oklahoma University.
Can't carry her gun at work, did she work at the post office before ERAC? Even though i understand the original posters mentality it's still a very ignorant thing to imply that anyone should take a firearm to work.
