Recruiters, How does Enterprise look to prospective employers on a resume for someone from Enterprise who is, say, a branch manager? Does it look impressive? Or no different from managing a Pizza Hut or Blockbuster? Or somewhere in between? What's the real deal?

It depends on the position you are applying for and how your resume looks all together. I have found in my personal experience that most ex-ERACers resumes that I look at are not that great, to be completely honest. They don't get into everything that they do on a daily basis and what it takes to run a branch. If you put that on the resume it looks a lot better.

I have worked for ERAC on Long Island and am now a recruiter. I didn't make it to branch manager because i wanted to get into something into another field of work. When interviewing for this job they loved the fact that I worked at ERAC. They said they hire many people from enterprise as recruiters and also for jobs they have available due to the level of time and training ERAC puts into each person. I can speak on the Long Island sense when I say ERAC does a great job interviewing people, they pick good people to work for them. Also they train people very well in the sales/customer service side. So for you question about if it looks good...YES. Make sure you list your job responsibilities, number of people you manage, if it's a flagship branch maybe, types of people you manage (full time, interns, car preps). When listing the job duties, list everything you can, make them sound good because many people are familiar with ERAC and the reasons why people leave, so be honest with that.
