We're up for the task.

Not really....It ranks # 3 in google for "enterprise rent a car customer service". Thats a MAJOR search term for a 6 billion dollar company!!!!! That is how I found it. (an unhappy customer myself) How can a customer make a reservation for an SUV or van for a family vacation, and then the company not have one when you show up to get it? Don't they know that people rely on them to perform their service? It caused me to lose 1 day of a vacation......Just to get a rental that I reserved weeks in advance??? Isn't this a basics of the rental business, to actually have the vehicles to rent? What is the purpose of a reservation otherwise?

Hmmmmn, how many thousands of customers and employees do you think have stumbled upon this site and have whole-heartedly agreed with the consensus of unhappy employees and customers but chose not to actually participate in the discussions.

I think sites like this are great. I am sure Enterprise knows about this site, and they may just try to make things better based on some of these discussions, however I doubt it. Sounds like most topics won't be a surprise to the upper management.

Actually, it's even better than you suggested. For all of these phrases:

"Enterprise Rent-A-Car complaints"
"Enterprise Rent-A-Car customer service"
"Enterprise Rent-A-Car sucks"
"hate Enterprise Rent A Car"
"Enterlies"
"Enterprise Rent-A-Car Human Resources"

we're #1 on Google, Yahoo, and MSN Search.

Now if a previous poster wants to claim "seems to me that this site has a lot of work to do", I'd like to ask him to do his homework.

It's so nice to hear somebody else making the argument that I seem to have to make on a daily basis with some knucklehead here on the discussion board.

Yes, they run tight Yes, once in a blue moon they might not have the exact class size you reserved Yes, the car may not be ready the minute you walk through the door-But 80% of their customers are COMPLETLY SATISFIED. Also, Enterprise is running a business to make money, just like any for profit business out there, they are one of the few rental car companies that has grown and made money since 9-11. Man-Enterprise is so evil they want to make money, but 80% of their customers are completly satisifed. Go ahead and tell me how it has to do with Ins. customers who get a replacement car for free-this show me you know nothing about the business. Try dealing with someone who either just hit someone and will most likely have to pay between $5-$20 a day for their mistake plus their deductible or someone who was just hit and now has to go through the inconvience of putting their car in a body shop and finding out they are getting a ford focus when they are putting their Volvo in the shop. With all this crap to deal with and Enterprise is able to COMPLETLY SATISFY 80% of its customers-wow the evil company must be doing something right. As many people have stated this cutomer is mainly a site for former and current employees to bitch and complain-and rightfully so, many put up with alot of crap or put up with alot of crap. But cutomers rarely come onto this site and say how horrible enterprise is. With over 700,000 car in service in the US and you have a handful of complaints. @ 80% of their cars on rent @ a given time that is 560,00 people in Enterprise cars @ a given time-with 80% of those people COMPLETLY SATISFIED. Can't really say from that, that the "Evil Enterprise" is doing such a horrible job.
Last I head, Corp average was still under 80...77 or 78 I think. Regardless, that is about the worst number to hide behind. The sampling is random, and not scientific at all. Many branches try to subliminaly beat the phrase "completely satisfied" into the customers' heads. I have gotten 3 different ESQI calls from times I rented, each poller had a different delivery, and 2 of them seemeed to lean towards the CS choice. Now that is 67% CS right out of the gate...LOL!!

Don't even get me started on people's personal lives and careers depending on a third party polling company and the way they do their deal. In theory it sounds progressive and a great idea...in reality it doesn't accurately reflect an entire picture or a completely unbiased result.

What the hell are you talking about....67% CS right out of the gate. These are independent polling people they could give a damn what the customer says. I've talked to many customers who said they have been baited by the people asking the questions.

Also, any company that is going to provide a service is going to ultimately piss off a few customers, it is the nature of the business.

Admin, did you ever consider that maybe they were trying to get rid of you as a customer. You seem like a pain in the ass to me. Maybe they saw your name on the reservation list and said "oh jackass is coming in give him that f150 with the puke in the back seat-maybe he'll stop coming here".

Blah blah blah. 80% of the customers are 80% satisfied 80% of the time. 80% is a pretty sexy percentage. I'd use it a lot too if I had to say as little as possible using as many words as I could! ERAC and ESQi can bite my A$$ (and give me that 80% of my life back!!) Thanks group 23!

....Just after this video clip, her branch manager most likely pulled her aside, to remind her she still needs to help pick up 7 cars from the mid-town branch on the other side of town for our 9 deals tomorrow at 7am! Lets gitter done Jenny...be a team player!!
It's now at this link:

and it sure looks like a typical ERAC happy hour. The guy in the suit probably told the girl he would forgive her if she banged him that night. And I would bet she banged someone that night!
