There's probably somebody over in the marketing department saying "Jesus Fucking Christ, Andy, these Failing Enterprise assholes are killing us!". What if we were to roll out some more features and campaigns of our own over the next year? How much more of their advertising campaign would have to go to counter that? Idiots. __________________ "Don't worry about what anybody else is going to do. The best way to predict the future is to invent it." -- Alan Kay |

As for this response. I really do think you believe you've seriously dented enterprise with this site. But, you haven't. Those lame ass commercials have been going strong for much longer than this site has been around. I really don't think your site is crushing them quite yet. In fact, I don't think it's anywhere close to crushing them. Those ads would have probably rolled out even if your site never existed. You're letting your ego get the best of you when you think that you're kicking their ass in PR. It's a marthon, not a sprint. Keep the site going strong, and you will eventually put a much more serious chink in their armor. Also, you really should send out more postcards to all the remaining branches if for any reason, just to quiet those that think there are several erac groups that are reputable. I don't think there are really any groups out there that are devoid of the bullshit that occurs. As for failingenterprise advertising, I'm not sure if you'd want to incur those costs, but that's up to you. Erac would probably respond with just an increase in the number of their new gay ads. They probbaly wouldn't acknowlege your site by name, though. Advertising would definitely get their attention, but you'd be opening up a whole new door that I'm sure your confidence level and ego are probably ready to walk through. You just might want to check with your attorneys to see if they want to walk through that same door with you. |

| Yes, you could spend money on a campaign to nullify ERAC’s ill-deserved “excellent” reputation. Let’s say you design a $10,000 dollar Anti-ERAC campaign. Well, they’re just gonna have $100,000 Pro-ERAC campaign. Once again, it comes down to finances. You know about their 80% national ESQi bullshit. I’m sure that was a manipulated number, just as I am sure I’m typing this message. But, being a student of advertising, I know that consumers for the most part are ignorant. You just need to say something loud enough and long enough and folks will swallow it. Hitler is a prime example of this. And for every 1,000 customers/employees that hate ERAC (b/c they know the Beast for what it is) Enterprise will find 3,000 customers/employees that say they adore it. And we all know that Enterlies is very adept at fabrication. Yes, they are undoubtedly talking about ways to shut this site down. But, like our government, they have contingency plans for everything, no matter how probable or improbable the danger may be. If Canada were to start acting up tomorrow, the USA has plans to cover it. The same is true for ERAC, as well as most corporations. Their PR department probably slaves around the clock (and then some) to asphyxiate any bad publicity. Rest assured that they’re constantly putting out fires. It’s Enterprise, for chrissakes!! And more than likely they also discuss future fire hazards . . . you know, the infernos that haven’t blazed yet . . . which is probably the file you are under. So, having them discussing Failing Enterprise isn’t a major victory. Numerous threats are gone over and assessed daily. You’re worth watching, as a potential fire hazard, but that’s about the sum of it. I would imagine they focus more on business competition that websites. And if you do get mentioned, it is but a single note from a symphony. This company is worth almost eight BILLION dollars, regrettably. Few, aside from cocaine barons and corrupt business scum, have the financial resources to bring it down. Trying to grapple with a giant like Enterprise . . . well, it’s a bit like pissing into the wind and praying you don’t get wet. The main step toward busting ERAC’s precious balls will be when (like I and others have said) they start to receive thinner and thinner paychecks. A step toward humiliating ERAC would be if Andy Taylor were to be caught in bed with two Transsexuals, taking turns performing unpleasant sexual acts on a chipmunk ;) |

Where I think ERAC is taking the hit is in HR. Recruiting is having a more difficult time getting quality candidates (you know---the ones that can read) and having more of a turnover problem when employees realize the ERAC problems are company-wide. Less quality employees= less profitability. |

But let’s not forget the recent college grads . . . the people who, like most fresh grads, are thrilled when someone offers them a job. They take these people, who don’t know any better, and proceed to tell them how they will zoom to the top of the corporate Food Chain. ERAC, bar none, is the best at pumping people’s heads full of horseshit. And quality has taken a major nose-dive at that place. They’ll hire any shlub who stumbles along, as long as they don’t drool too much on the clip-board. I think ERAC’s having difficulty hiring people b/c, it seems, they’ve made a nasty habit of bending their employees over on a national (and international) level. The UK talks massive shit about this company. I can’t read the German postings, but I seriously doubt there’s any love or “props.” And 99% of the stuff here in the USA isn’t Enterprise friendly. Word gets out about how companies treat their employees. ERAC’s TRUE business philosophies, much to the Andy’s chagrin, are beginning to emerge. They are essentially destroying themselves from the inside out. And would that would take place regardless of Failing Enterprise efforts. |

I think the hit they're taking on recruitment is serious and only going to get worse. Maybe I should prepare a special postcard for college career recruiting offices and send out a mass-mailing so everyone can get the word about these guys? What if I were to hit a couple thousand campuses where Enterprise is likely to recruit? Oh man, that would land like a bomb! __________________ "Don't worry about what anybody else is going to do.
