Default I quit... what to expect now?

Hello all! I put my two weeks in last wed. but my manager was being an ass to me so I decided that my last day would be that following Friday. I sent an email letting him know I was done, now Hr has left me a message about filling some paper work for my final check? I don't want to deal with this, what should I do??? I have direct deposit, so I assume I will still get my last check regardless or am I wrong? HELP !!! I know if I go all the big wigs will just stare me down and harass me.

You might want to go in. It's pretty much your exit interview. Don't worry about it, they can't really harass you, just walk in ( I wore shorts, sandals and a tshirt that I made with iron on letters that said "FREE" on it) and ask to just get it done as fast as possible. In San Diego they gave mepaperwork for health insurance (Cobra) outside of ERAC so I wasnt roaming freely without some sort of protection.

This is your chance to roll anyone you want to, but be careful with this as the old saying goes "don't burn your bridges".

One of my friends didnt go in and nothing happened, his check got deposited and that was that. But that was out in San Diego, you never know how business differs from location to location.

All in all you are free, just make sure everything is in order with tax forms, health insurance and pay and you are good to go.

Good for you for quitting, welcome to the smart people club
