Default About This Forum

This forum is an experiment. Many people are still unhappy that unregistered users can post messages, which many feel leads to lower quality posts. Other people feel that being able to post as "Unregistered" is crucial as having a registered username allows someone to review all one's posts and put together a profile.

One possible compromise is to have most of the board be available for everyone to post, but have a special area in which only registered users can post.

In this forum, everyone can read the posts, but only registered users and post here. Let's see how this experiment goes.

This is a noble experiment, Admin. I hate unregistered users. I call them "unregistered losers." hahahahahaha.

(except for realitycheck, he could kick my ass)

I think this is the way to go but needs to be extended for more than a week across all threads to give a real sense of worth or value.

Given that Enterprise just plain fires employees for posting here, I do want to make it easy for people to post anonymously.

Of course, registering doesn't make someone any less anonymous, but it does allow someone to review all your messages more easily and try to figure out who you are.

There are a lot of pros and cons for each strategy, but I think we've got a pretty good happy median right now.

Point taken , I found this site loved it registered and done what I usualy do I spoke before thinking. You can't be fired for expressing a personal opinion ( I would have been sacked long a go),but I have seen the corporate tank in action just because an AM didn't like a manager .I am also sick of nameless idiots spoiling great boards.
