Hey admin I need your help. Today i went to a expensive restaraunt and had a reservation for dinner. When I got there at 725 for my 7:30 reservation i was told a table wasnt ready! I had to wait almost 15 minutes!!!!! I mean I had a CONFIRMED reservation and there was no table for me!!!!!!! Then after finally getting seated i wanted to order a nice bottle of wine that wouldnt cost me to much. Well wouldnt you know it they didnt have the one i wanted but of course they offered one that was a little more expensive!! Now being as i am a anal person who cant deal with the fact that sometimes life doesnt go exactly to plan, i am furious!!!!!! How can i put my anal tendencies to best use and build a web site that not only voices my concerns about this establishment but also create rumor mill that accuses people of coke use and cheating on their families? I dont care if most of them are false I will allow myself to sleep at night by telling myself i only created the site for legitimate reasons

Don't worry, I'm sure the Denny's you went to will give you a discounted grand slam the next time you come in. You....an ERAC empolyee.....went to an expensive restaurant?!? You can barely afford food, let alone an establishment that serves it. Stop snorting coke and screwing around on your wife and you won't have to worry about websites like this.

Uhh...

I understand where you're trying to go with your fictional example, but it's not a good example. Here's why:

You're comparing your table reservation to a car reservation... which I understand, and that works under some circumstances. But then you switch gears and suggest that wines of varying cost is the equivalent of putting someone into a car that costs more. You can't use tables AND wine to compare with the reservation of a specific car.

Sure, you entered the restaurant and expected to be seated for 7:30 and didn't get seated until 7:40 in the example you gave. Like ERAC, the restaurant has a limited number of tables and is dependent on its patrons eating and leaving within a window of time.

However, ordering wine at a restaurant is different than expecting to get the car you reserved. If you had requested a specific wine when you reserved the table and they said the wine would be there and it wasn't so they tried to sell you a higher priced wine, then your example would have held water.

If you wanted your example to actually translate into something closer to what ERAC does, your example should have talked about being seated at a table where they jack up the bill simply because the table you're sitting at is a more expensive table.

PS, better take out the CDW on the appetizers.

What I suggest to you (and other like-minded Green Bloods) is that, instead of justifying ERAC’s horrible performance, look at what it does to its employees (you) and its customers. They lie, for starters. Not just about pay, but also about the opportunities. Yes, one CAN make money here . . . but one could also win the lottery.

I agree that people are gonna drop the ball at times. Shit, just look at the President of the United States. But, if you keep dropping it, well, there’s gonna be some concern. I would say that ERAC does an excellent job of fucking up.

Another key example of Enterprise’s gradual decent into the shitter is the retention rate. Do you think it’s normal to have one so high? Do you? Huh? Other companies would be appalled if they had employees dropping like flies.

And before you start unjustifiably congratulating yourself b/c you can “hack it,” remember that you are not a phenomenon. You’re a fool that has been brainwashed . . . an Eracian. Enterprise could care less about you. Should you really think that ERAC is loyal and honorable, well, then I’ve got some Snipe in my back yard you can have. You just gotta catch the bastards.

I’ve always laughed at the arrogance and stupidity of those that truly think they are The Best of The Best. Folks, the Best of The Best don’t work at Enterprise. ERAC only likes the ones who buy into their propaganda. They will take a brainwashed imbecile any day of the week. Why? B/c they’re easier to manipulate. No questions asked. People like that have low expectations (and self esteems) about what they can do. Those are the best types, if you want blind loyalty. And only a company who sucks wants that.

I find it sad that you fail to see Enterprise for what it is. I also find it awful that you have no clue as to the how this place really works.

A person needs to work hard to achieve things. But shit man, this place treats us like slaves. You can’t say that you agree the pay is even for the number of hours we put in. You can’t say that it’s fine we have no time for a personal life. Maybe Adm’s hopes for what this site will achieve are a bit high, but you must start somewhere.

As for your anal tendencies, I wouldn’t be telling everyone how I like it in the bedroom. That’s between you and your father.

Well when you talk to someone and they say "I just got down from my room and we were snorting coke" and when a girl tells you "I fucked the Area manager" and he has a wife and kids....well then it's no longer a rumor...it's a fact.

i think the moral of the post is this; The internet has brought upon a whole new type of human interaction. A type where there is no personal integrity or responsibility. A place where anyone can sit behind a screen and be the tough guy that that have always wanted to be, without the fear of anyone calling them on it. People can toss any type of immature or irresponsible comment they want to on this forum and not have to worry about answering to it. The idea that you are verbally tearing someone up is laughable. The issue here is bigger. The fact that people come on here and air dirty laundry or toss rumors around is wrong. Hate your job all you want, hate your company all you want but take some responsibility for your personal actions. You may think your rvp is a dirtbag and you heard he screws around with employee's but its not your right to air it on here. I know i wouldnt want to be the one who posts something untrue and have someones kid read it. I know that people will rip into this post and thats fine. its not meant for the idiots who come on here and act like tough guys. In fact, the most powerful insuly against enterprise is looking at some of the idiots that they used to employ. I only hope that some of the more reasonable people on here actually think about what this board has become. I have always loved this website because it started out at being true to a cause.
