Default Enterprise Customer Service Will Now Take Phone Calls Again!

Member Jeahho has just pointed out to me that after two and a half years of my pounding on Enterprise for deliberately removing their Customer Service telephone number from their website, they've now put it back on.

I've always felt there was something wrong with a consumer services company that had 6,000 branches and a Customer Service department that didn't take phone calls.

Congratulations to Enterprise for doing the right thing!

Actually, I believe it was there all the time and simply pointed it out because you said they didn't have a customer service number. And if that number didn't work it would have been just as easy to call their 800# which they advertise on their website and elsewhere rather than harass an individual by telling disgruntled customers to call him directly in the hopes that when they call him they will say they got his phone number from FailingEnterprise.com and gain you some coolpoints. Why don't you try painting a more accurate representation of our conversation next time?

I am positive that there are unhappy users of this site that would love to be able to call you and voice their disappointment in the way you do business. I can't seem to find a contact number for you anywhere on this site though. It seems you are holding Enterprise to a higher standard than you care to obtain.

If this site is about doing what is fair you are falling way short.

Like I said, I've been checking for two and a half years and it hasn't been there. This is the first I've even seen of it.

I don't hold myself out as a retail company with 6,000+ branches. I provide a public service web site. And the site is free. We don't lie to anyone and we don't cheat anyone. We're vastly different than Enterprise. I realize it may be tempting to make a "what's good for the goose is good for the gander" argument, but it doesn't apply.

If you feel Failing Enterprise doesn't meet your needs, then don't come back, but nobody here lied to you or cheated you. That's the difference between us and Enterprise.

Oh Hell yeh! We a 1-800 number for customer complaints. So now the customers won't be speaking directly with My area manager! That's cool- I'm sure he won't give me as much heat when he's gets this shit second hand! Way to go Enterprise! I'm with you Admin!
