There's been a lot of vandalism lately by unregistered posters. Most discussion boards don't allow anonymous posters for this very reason. It might be time for us to grow up and require registration.

And most discussion boards that require registration are lame and boring. The more you continue to ask for registration, the more I don't want to register.

I've posted my identity in the "About Failing Enterprise" forum.

OK, then, we'll live without you. Good bye.

If having to reregister every time the person wants to post isn't a strong enough deterrent, then he will require registration with a validated email address. If people use too many free email accounts to bombard him with, he will eliminate yahoo, hotmail, etc from email verification. You get the picture.

This goes hand in hand with my other post though. Go ahead and register. Say something offensive about a specific individual now. Forget you said it. Then say something a couple months from now that helps your target identify you, because believe me, they will be reading your every word in the hopes you slip up. Then the real fun starts. Make sure to come back under your registered name and tell us about the foot they put in your supposedly anonymous ass.
I never had a chance to say, Welcome back, buddy. I'm sure you missed me immensely.

I tried for years to impress this philosophy of dealing with problem customers on Enterprise and they just wouldn't have it. Maybe we both have something to learn from E. They would never give up on realitycheck.

I really didn't think you were the same person. Your position on the board has shifted pretty drastically since I was away. Good to see you.

Still the same guy. I still think Erac sucks. I still disagree with your take on erac to certain degree. I don't think their success in profitability makes them a succesful company overall. There's no reason why they can't treat their employees better and still maintain a solid profit margin. It's just not commonplace in today's world. And also, I'd like to see you lighten up a bit, and it seems like you have.

As for my view lately, I've always tried to be as unbiased as possible. Admin didn't post nearly as often when you were on the board. He always seemed to take a floor seat and let us go after each other. I started going after him when his arrogance and inconsitent ignroance came rising to the surface through his postings. And surprisingly enough, he didn't like me giving him the same level of sarcasm as I gave you for all those months.

I consider myself a capitalist and I don't feel it's too late for Enterprise Rent-A-Car to change for the better.

As realitycheck has already noted, ERAC is everything that's wrong with big business. Some of their practices have destroyed people's lives.

Instead of listening to many of the intelligent discussions that have taken place on this site, they continue to take the position of arrogance.

I really think this is a result of problems in corporate America and I don't think Enterprise is any better or worse than the rest. They do push a level of competition within their culture which magnifies an already existing problem but I think overall it has to do with big business in general and less to do with a specific company. Enterprise is a capitalist wet dream. If ????? has a problem with capitalism he should come out and say it and broaden his fight to include a wider range of companies. I’m not so sure though that he would get the same support if his goal was to make all ‘capitalist pigs’ change their ways so I doubt he will go that route.

Enterprise arrogance stems from the inability to change the way the majority of people act in a certain situation. You take 50,000 people and give them a chance to make a huge amount of cash and what you end up with is 30,000 who just want to come in and do their job to the best of their ability and go home and relax at the end of the day, 10,000 who think if they work extra hard they will get ahead but for whatever reason they don't and are pissed about it, 5,000 that hated the job from day one and look for every opportunity to not do what needs to be done, 1,500 who work really hard honestly and make huge cash, 1,500 who slack off their whole career and make huge cash, 1,000 who lie cheat and steal to get ahead and end up getting fired, and another 1,000 who lie cheat and steal to get ahead and end up in a power position making big bucks. What seems like arrogance might just be inability to change the way people are and recognize them for what they are. Who knows really? Those statistics are like most by the way, made up, so don't challenge me on those numbers.
