Renting cars to the retarded Anyone ever do this? If they come in with a license you have to have a good reason not to rent to them (or it's discrimination) I did it over 3 times during my "career" at ERAC. However I was never as bad as some of the higher ranking workers in rental were. When I was an MT, my a$$hole Branch Manager used to love confusing them into taking waiver and scaring the hell out of anyone they came in with about liability, etc. Real nice and caring, huh? JeahHo or some other person from ERAC Public Relations will probably type up a response citing that there's a bunch of legal crap that ERAC has to follow, blah blah blah, it's in their best interest, jerk me off, etc. Maybe it's just me, but I think confusing someone who is mentally challenged just to make money (spare me the insurance argument) is just wrong. |
