Ok, So here is a great way for you to see how much time you put in to Enterprise. Some might say waste at "E". In any case, I thought I would do this for those of you that are still company men\women and those of you thinking about joining up with the #1 recruiter of recent grads. Enterprise Worker 50hrs a week x 52 wks in a year ----------------- 2600 hours worked in a year All X Workers and the rest of the population 40 hrs a week x 52 wks in a year ---------------- 2080 hours worked in a year If you are an MT and guaranteed $28k $28k / 2600hrs = $10.77\per hour Then take 2600 -2080 ---------- 520 more hrs per year /50 hrs per wk -------------- 10.4 weeks more per year you work then anyother. Enterprise believes in a 62wk year based on the hours they make you work. Thats before you even start looking at all the extra holidays that most companies get off and well, you don't at "E". Truth be told, most people will never get out what they put in. X

"10.4 weeks more per year you work then anyother" Well, that is if the rest of the population is working a 40 hour week. That is no longer the case. If you work a 40 hour week and make decent money, you are doing well for yourself and I congratulate you.

what a relief to see that I am not the only person out there that this is happening to!!! relief and sadness all rolled into one. I am an MT in knoxville, tn and like you was promised 28k for my first year, oh but how they lie and loophole that too! my base salary for two weeks is $738.46...that is a whoping $9.23 an hour for a kid that had two bachelor degrees by the time she was twenty. I see all of these people ahead of me saying just stick with it, like my BRM who I went to college with who has been with the company 11months and now runs a 120+ car branch, but I just dont think that I can take the constant abuse, 55+ hour work weeks, no lunches, sexual inuendos, etc! please! does it ever get any better? I've only been with the company 3 months, and I am doing awesome, blowing everybody away, but who cares, if I wake up every morning dreading the day ahead!!!

If ya hate it now, it doesn't get any better as you advance. Just FYI Wait until you get 'promoted' to assisant manager and more than likely make even less. My advice: What did one shepherd say to the other shepherd? Let's get the flock out of here. -Lethal weapon Do the same...

Well in CT the guarantee is 30 k, and when I averaged it out over 48 hours per week it came to 12 dollars even per hour. HOWEVER, you must remember that since you are working overtime when you go over 40 hours, it really is less than the hourly average, because you should count the over 40 time as time and a half.

well, I have to say the one good thing I do like about my job and the long hours worked are my hot BM! sometimes we work late together and lock the office and I pound it hard in the bathroom. She would be so mad if I told anyone this. Her southern accent just keeps me coming to work everyday. With the exception of me gettin some on late nights I cant stand my job here! I guess I will keep lickin that beaver until I quit or get fired. (just my .01 cent worth)
