| I HAVE TO VENT !! SORRY!! I have been an Enterprise employee for 3 years now, followed my way up the ladder. Watched plenty of shaddy stuff happen. Poor upper level management making us lie to employees , customers, and trying to manipulate and brain wash me to making me believe that it’s the best job ever. Well I have opened my eyes and now honestly “see the big picture” I am applying for any job that actually has values and lives up to them. I thought that it was just maybe a problem in my area /region, but I notice the trend in this company and it’s horrible. The mission statement should be “We brainwash the vulnerable college grads and try to sucker them into staying into this horrible poor excuse for a good company by feeding them full of great things that can happen along with great values that WE never hold up to. Actually we are taught to go against ethics. We promote those who know how to lie, cheat, steal, and make numbers look higher than they really are. O if you can hack the system sell yourself out, Have no respect in others, then we might give you 6 figures in 6 years.” I know an area manager who didn’t even make 50K last year. They inflate your income and make you say you’re making more than you are just to brainwash the new hires. Honestly you don’t make jack for what you have to put up with and do. PLEASE I SAY PLEASE if you work for enterprise or plan on working for them, USE THEM FOR WHAT THEY ARE GOOD FOR. “Experience” If you try and make a career out of this then you will honestly waste your time. And to prove it look at the people that post on this board the majority of them have been with the company over 1 year, some 6-8 and they will say the exact same. It takes some longer to see the REAL “big picture” but because of this board it’s perfectly clear now. |

| man i feel you. i graduated from a great school with a degree in English and struggled with so-so jobs for a year before i came to enterprise. at first i thought it was a dream come true, i get to drive around brand new cars everyday, they take me out to restaurants all the time and i can pig out, the managers all get drunk after work, they give me the clothing discount that ive used twice already, i get to go deliver cars to large business and in 5 years i'm going to be a made man making six figures. Now i see this @#%$ for what it is. Area managers dont give a @#%$ about us or the customers, all they care about is making as much money as possible. If my area manager is in the office and we are at 98% and she hears me turn down business over the phone she will literally @#%$ in her pants. We have to creatively turn things down behind her back b/c they dont care they want all cars out to make mula. They throw you around to different offices at an arms wing, we take @#%$ from customers daily and i personally have to almost justify everyday why i'm working for enterprise. I got sneaky and peaked at my MA, my assistant manager, and even my branch managers paychecks and none of them really make @#%$. Your money isnt guaranteed one period you may get 1300 the next you'll get 780 its all depending on your DXs and bullshit we work all these hours and are all underpaid like a muthafugga and since we're all naive and under 25 with little experience we dont know any better. Plus, the economy is shitty so I for one have no idea where else I can honestly go to find equal pay and better hours. The only positive with enterprise is indeed the business experience, but i still dont want to bother suffering as an assistant manager for no reason... |
