Default Dress for Success

Unless they have changed it you can choose to participate in the "Dress for success program" ERAC will give you a $600 gift certificate to JOS A Bank to purchase professional clothes. You pay ERAC back around $230 over 4 pay periods. Erac pays the rest along with a discount from JOS A Bank.

Default Clothing Allowance

Instead of being on this site asking about a clothing allowance, you should be polishing up that ole resume. It won't be long until you're going to need to break it out.

As for clothing, you can save your receipts, and if you're dumb enough to spend over $700/year in work clothing, you can use it as a tax deduction.

Another helpful hint...if you're going to buy new ties, buy them at the Salvation Army. They'll get sucked into the shop-vac quicker than you got sucked into your frightening career!
