I am new to the site and to enterprise (5mos) and I need some of your knowledge. I'm getting sick of rental, what are some of the cushiest departments and jobs at erac? At first I was thinking inhouse or callback center would be cake, but I have heard the inhouse ppl actually are stressed from all the stressed insurance ppl, and doing callbacks all day would probably put you to sleep...but damn those mon-fri 8am-5pm no weekend hours sound like heaven right about now!

Admin might be the spot for you but remember, they cut your salary because in their eyes, you are working less hours and have less pressure on you. Loss control was a breeze. Accounting may be rough to deal with especially the hours Vehicle repair, depending on the size of your region, could go either way.

LCAM or Remarketing...both have potential for $$$ and you don't spend time with general public, just business to business sales which is a good resume builder. The other bonus is these jobs take place outside an office for the most part so when the time comes to seek another job it's easy to schedule interviews. Both will provide you with a company car as well. The hours are shorter and the skills you develop, especially in corporate accounts are more transferable to another job. Going in house as an admin or loss control, call back center may be less hours but the job is mindnumbing, pay is terrible, and you're chained to a desk all day so slipping out to interviews is nearly as hard, plus you gain no real skills unless you want to move to another low paying, data entry, administrative, customer service position.

LCAM or Remarketing. If you want to go inside, I would recommend HR. Still no general public, but you get to basically hear everything that you see on this discussion board. Hell, you could probably keep it very interesting with the stories that are never told.

responding to admin (inhouse, callback center) jobs not paying @#%$, you act like i get paid @#%$ now as an MT. My reasoning is at least I'll be getting paid my shitty 30k with an 8am-5pm mon-fri schedule so i can still have a life. This 7am-6pm or later b.s. is killing me...remarketing/lcam are alright i guess but that still requires at least one ma or asst.mgr promotion, which is doable but i really dont even feel like bothering anymore..

Now that's drive! I should place an ad in the paper this week for my firm...seeking piece of crap employee who in return seeks cushiest job on planet. If you're that person, call me. Classic....no wonder there are problems at this company...they need to figure out how to get you clowns off the bus.
