....the company has. When you go out and hire a million 22 year old sociology and psychology grads (or whatever bunk major many of the new hires graduated with and couldn't get a job), 900,000 employees in your work force are going to be egocentric immature juveniles. In 3 years, egocentric juveniles end up being 'bitter' slightly more mature significantly more inebriated egocentric juveniles. It's the same reason why when there is no growth, only a handful of people get promoted. Only a handful of the population is cut out to bleed green for that long. For the rest of you (me included), we weren't cut out for it. And, that's coming from someone who had 4 pretty successful years out of 5 years with the company. You weren't cut out for it. You remember those trainees that quit on day one? or in week two? The ones you laughed at when you were washing a car in your suit and pitching waiver to a 90 year old? They were just smarter than you. I can accept that. Can you?
Getting back to the problem, I haven't been on this site for 5 MONTHS and I am still looking at some of the same people bitching and whining from 5 months ago. How can you blame the company for sticking around too long? You should have quit earlier. I quit the minute it felt right. My last year with them was excruciating in the end, but I have a better career now BECAUSE I worked at ERAC. I got over it. Can you?
Edit: I just realized this forum is a support group for traumatized ERACers. Carry on with the self-loathing....
