ARGH!!

all this past weekend , i was saying to myself,
i'm not going to go to work,.. i'm not going to go to work,.. i'm not going to go to work,..

i was planning on staying home and watching the news and remembering the day and so on and so fourth...

but i hate myself for going...
I WENT IN ANYWAY

and all day today, i told a few customers who i drove home that i didn't feel like going in today and that i wanted to watch the news and everything

anyone who is everyone will NEVER FORGET this day 5 years ago

but as for me..
why did I go

WHY?? i hate myself for MISSING all the events and the names that were read earlier today on the news

i just HATE MYSELF for MISSING IT!!

yeah sure i may be an A-HOLE, but...
why did i go in today???

i just should have stayed home today and watched the news..

It's a big day, but for the rest of the world it's just another day. I think that the best way to commemorate those who died in the tragedy is to live your lives as if it didn't happen. Remember what happened, of course, but don't let it preoccupy your lives with thoughts of terror, disaster, etc...being strong as a nation in the face of obvious suffering speaks volumes.

Even if I were an American, I would have gone to work...don't let the terrorists win! :)
