Default United Way - Charity Auction

I started this thread in GP10 and it seems they all bleed green there because there is one lowly reply. I heard that my old region in GP10 had a charity auction for the United Way the other night. I guess there were some decent items there like Celtics tickets and Patriots tickets. I found out that the first item on the list was dinner for 30 people at the RVP's house! WTF?!? Not only do you have to listen to this guy but you have to pay to eat with him? I know why he did this. He wants to show everyone what you can achieve with the ERAC dream. Oh yeah that and he wants everyone to kiss his ass. Someone told me that all 30 spots were filled. Oh how the brown nosing abounds at ERAC Have any of you experienced anything like this?

As a former employee of Enterprise I can say that they are encouraged to find cheap ways to give rewards and they do consider dinner with a RVp a reward. I have never been in contact with a company that makes so much money and is so scared to spend it on something as necessary as a printer that is not a track feed.

In Group 12 we had a casino night. I guy I work with payed something like $100 to have dinner at our business manager's house...wtf. I didn't go to our charity night, but a few days later I get an inter office envelope with my United Way donation form in it. Then when I had not turned it my HR assistant called me asking where is was. I told her I was still thinking of how much I was giving, when in turn I sent that F***king form through the paper shredder.

I can promise you that there is more than erac out there. As a matter of fact, because I have that on my resume I get so many job offers left and right! If you can survive for a year or more at erac most company think you piss plutonium and catch bullets with your teeth. They will practically beg for you to join their company. I would rather make 50k and have peace of mind and actually enjoy my life outside of work than to make 65k and hate the planet and everything on it because I can only think of ways to steal my rental back from a customer. You have never lived until you find out you have ulcers from work induced stress, your car care quits in the middle of a Monday morning return day because the INS is on his ass, and you have the police on hold wanting to confirmed that the rental that has been shot up during a drug bust does actually belong to your branch. Hell, ERAC is the jerry springer show of car rental. Don't be an ass clown all of your life, quit while you still can, before they send you to car sales!
