Default Help!! Advice need ASAP

not sure if you guys have followed my posts, but I resigned this morning and have my exit interview on monday. I'm finishing out the month for a full commission check, and then going on my way.....here is my problem though:

I have 6 choice days left and it is my understanding that I am not going to be paid for those days, but I do not know for sure as HR is to no suprise not returning my phone calls. Does anybody know? I dont want to burn bridges but I know I wont get a letter or recommendation so if that is the case, I don't really see the point in coming to work these next days.......PLEASE ADVISE ASAP

You won't get paid for choice days. Vacation only.

Default Ho is right

Vaca only paid out on term. Use your choice days Th/Fri then roll in Monday for your last day.

Default paid days

I, too, am working out my 2 weeks notice and my HR manager says I will receive a check for choice and vacation days. One of my friends that left a while back received a check for all her days, also.

I don't know if this is the case in all groups but when I left last month I received a check that included "paid time off" which I understand to be both choice time and vacation. I believe the compnay changed to a paid time off policy and eliminated the distinction between choice time and vacation.

Default letter of recommendation

don't let recommendation letters be a decision maker for you. they don't provide them anyways, too much of a legal issue.

True. No one in a prospective company will able to get a hold of anyone for a recommendation. Legally, they just state that you worked there. Plus, you won't believe how many people you interview with are highly familiar with ERAC or once worked there. The basic gist is this. You worked for ERAC---you must know how to work hard and take a lot of crap. We like that. When I interview I just state that ERAC taught me how to work hard and deal with a lot of problems. People like that.
