Repo At ERAC they give you so much pressure to rent cars. So I did. I rented to everyone no matter what the deal was. I risked it all the time. I never turned away a customer due to credit or whatever. Now that made for some fun situations. 1. Rented a Suburban on cash to some scumbag for a load of money. I knew it was a bad deal the second it left my lot. Got on the phone that day and started my hunt. The next week I find it hidden in some dude's yard. Thank God for remoteless entry. We jumped and took off. But wait---there's a huge pit bull in the back seat. I freaked. He didn't do anything and next thing I know this scumbag is chasing me down the street in his buddy's alero. I drive to my office and this guy is threatening to kill me so I call the police. Nothing ever happened. 2. Had to repo two cars from the same house. That was weird. Lot more of those stories, but I was just thinking that I actually loved risking it. Sometimes I miss ERAC for the strangest things. Overall, I'm glad I'm done though. |
