Anyone have any stories about a credit card declining and the customers reaction.

I have one where the credit card declined, but we typed an autho # so it would process. Renter ended up paying in cash.

I once took three "filll out reward forms" bad cards from a customer in a row. Then the customer freaked on me and said we did not tell her that we needed a valid one.

Just one of the many interesting customers I met over the years at ERAC.

I once had a customer try and use a Sears Card. After I explained to him that this would not work he quickly replied " well its a credit card"......Brilliant
