WWWWWOOOOOOO!!!!! Nice one! I have to quote the good part of the message so we can keep it in one piece:

reality said,

"Not that I care--"

"I haven’t implemented any swear word filtering on the board
-I didn't realize that a regular poster would have the responsibility to implement such a filtering system. Your use of 'I' is really curious to me..."

"As for the spelling--huh? They look funny because they will get bleeped out otherwise. As for them weaking my argument---You haven't used them yet, and I wouldn't say that you are really knocking anyone over with your side of things. Perhaps you shouldn't put focus on my use of words, but rather than your your lack of an argument."

"Again - read the User Guidelines. Posts like that discredit your thoughts and make you seem idiotic. It is much better to come off as intelligent than rude and stupid and immature.
-Oh did Mr. dull pants get offended?? What are you the board police? Charlie, we've got a 411 in progress on the corner of discussion thread number 5 and 6. Need immediate response. Backup assistance is requested. Repeat again, back up assistence is requested. I'm sure everyone feels much more secure knowing that a Barney Fife like yourself is on it."

"Do us a favor and gather your thoughts before you hit add reply.
-Gotta love the condescending tone implied there. It's funny that when someone replies and attempts to make a comeback--they try and belittle the other with condescending tone. Could it be that it is a compensation for lack of originality? Or perhaps that it's simply because the person responding is a good old fashioned fuc.kstick.
Sorry, officer. Better send the patrol car STAT.""

*********************************************
Reality,
You do realize that paragraph he quoted is from the Admin right? I don't care that you are calling the Admin a dumb@ss, I have thought it a couple times myself, but I can guarantee you didn't know who you were responding to.

This is another one I must reference from time to time because I can finally get a good picture of you.
You are that guy management loved because they talk a good game. You made people chuckle from time to time so they overlooked your lack of ability. You were probably a fairly good salesperson as your whole livelihood is hanging from your ability to speak and attempt to make someone smile. You are usually the guy that stays until he does something really really stupid and everyone stops thinking he is funny and realizes he is just a talker and has no worth within a corporation. Sorry if I'm not even close.

***Admin, I do like your site, but sometimes our viewpoints conflict. Don't take me calling you a dumb@ss personally because it is said with the utmost respect.

Sorry for the double. I did enjoy employing people like you though Reality, because you can probably sell your butt off. The problem always came when they wanted to be promoted but didn't have a spec of knowledge.

The desire to be promoted, the fortitude and ability to seek and learn the knowledge needed to move up, and finally, the ability to use the knowledge you gained during the learning process are all factors that will determine your upward mobility within a company. You must have all of it you want to reach ultimate success. The levels of desire to learn and knowledge required to be successful would be weighty factors that would vary from business to business. I am very happy for those who left Enterprise and found jobs better suited to their desires and abilities. I sometimes wonder at all the hate though. Do you think you are going to be happy when you hit the ceiling at the company you are with now? Or is the ceiling at the company you are with now an acceptable level of work and pay? Sometimes hitting that ceiling is a surprise, and some people take it as a personal attack. When you are dealing heavily in cash though, the wrong person in the wrong job can make things turn bad quickly. Don't be bitter.

***Please note, all the views above are simply opinion. If you disagree with me that is fine. No need to attack in hordes.

Default JeahHo, jumping on the defensive

And going for the jugular. Nice.
You fiesty little devil man, you.

As for the mention of Admin--Thanks for letting me in on something I already knew. Admin jumped on me one time when I called you a name that was misconstrued as a bash on gay people. It wasn't, but I haven't used that particular term again. I must be providing some input and some laughs as my access has not yet been revoked. Sorry, chief but this is something that not just you knew. That might bruise your ego, so you better take the poor little thing out for ice cream or some pizza.

As for your ascertation about my psyche, I will say this:

Sorry Mario, but the Princess is in another castle.

'I can finally get a good picture of you.'
-I think you need to go back to the darkroom, cause you developed the wrong snapshot.

'You are that guy management loved because they talk a good game.'
-Actaully, I got along with some managers, some not so well. I was usually pretty reserved around the people I did not like because I had nothing good to say to them. Again, to contrary belief, I am a laid back person. Do you honestly think I go off on EVERYONE that I meet that I don't like? What would be the point? I just write them off as wastes of perfectly good space. This board is something for me to do, and when jerkoffs come on it-I post my two cents.

'You made people chuckle from time to time so they overlooked your lack of ability.'
-right about the chuckling, wrong about the ability. I liked to make people laugh and have fun because with all the crap that is thrown your way in life, I don't have the energy to take it so seriously. I don't know how YOU can even muster up the strength to post like you do. Your uptight personality must weigh a ton!

'You were probably a fairly good salesperson as your whole livelihood is hanging from your ability to speak and attempt to make someone smile.'
-right about my sales ability, wrong about my livelihood
There were times I was at the top of the sales game--other times I was in the middle of the pack. Making someone smile is a tough concept for you to grasp because you most likely never do it. I used my personality to sell--but not like you think. Again, contrary to your hypothesis, I am laid back, so I would simply talk to the customers rather than give them a sales pitch. I would lay it out so they understood the product. I wouldn't bullshit them.

'You are usually the guy that stays until he does something really really stupid and everyone stops thinking he is funny and realizes he is just a talker and has no worth within a corporation. Sorry if I'm not even close.'
-No need to apologize, as you are not even close. But hey, nice try though. I do and say stupid things all the time. I can do this because I'm not an uptight toolbox like you. Do you think I act this way at work? Would I even have a job if I kept doing that? I do a serious job, but I don't take it too seriously because it is just a job.

JeahHo, you just made me smirk.. Clearly I'm getting under your skin because the tone in this post seemed a bit on the defensive. Perhaps, some of my assumptions of what you're really like hit home, so you got pissed and made a feeble attempt to size me up because that makes you feel better about yourself. You really feel that your ascertation of me is correct because you are oblivious to fun and sense of humor. You take things way too seriously. I don't know how you survived for 8 years at Erac by being such a killjoy. Just because someone tries to have fun and crack jokes doesn't mean that they are how you see me. I know the type of person that you were describing---but that's not me. Sorry to disapoint you. I don't have nearly as much disdain for you as you have for me. Why do you think that is? I've said that I don't think that you are a bad person, just a little off base with your priorities. You focus so hard on hard work and proving that you're right, that you fail to step back and enjoy life. Someday you may catch on to the concept that life doesn't have to be as unfun as you make it. But that day is clearly not today.

People don't like you not because of what you say--but how you say it. Many of us rip on you not because we don't agree with you, but because you're not a likable person. You really should take some communication courses as well as online tone training. I'm not trying to mean, but I've met people that are like the picture I have of YOU. They don't know how to relax. They don't know how to have fun on a consistent basis. Those people tend to isolate themselves because people get tired of being around them. Sorry if I'm not even close....

Default question for ERAC

Hey ERAC- how is it you follow up on sales calls when your company can't even follow through on reservations??

That is kind of funny. Even when I explain to you what you did, you still can't understand..... lets try this.

Your post:
"I haven’t implemented any swear word filtering on the board
-I didn't realize that a regular poster would have the responsibility to implement such a filtering system. Your use of 'I' is really curious to me...:

He wasn't a regular poster saying he was going to implement a swear word filter on the board, it was all a quoted paragraph from admin. A user reposted part of the forum rules from the admin. You were responding to the admin, not the user. And you weren't very nice either. The regular guy was simply quoting the admin. I am trying to think of other ways to say it. The last half of your post were comments directed at a user, but you were actually responding to the admin. Am I getting through?

Sorry, this simply illustrates my point so well that I can't stop pointing at the wreckage. By responding to the admins words in that tone you also prove that your responses are based more on your like or dislike of the person saying the words than on their actual meaning, or content. Very shallow.

Default Yeah

Yeah, I got that. I know the 'user' was reiterating what admin said, so yes in a way I was talking to admin. But I ragged the guy that posted because he was NOT admin. It's admin's site, not some uppity tool box's. Like I said, Admin jumped on me for that one comment a while back, and I listened. JeahHo, maybe just maybe, admin has a sense of humor and allows a lot of the back and forth because it is fun. I'm sure he realizes that to keep this board alive, you need to have fun throughout. Hell, he compliments Heartland Girl on her movie quotes--so that alone tells me that he gets the whole 'fun' concept. And let's not forget just who actually just called admin a dumbass, but with no disresepct of course. JeahHo, you are one stubborn guy. I personally have nothing against you--I just think you are UPTIGHT AS ALL HELL!! My jabs at you are to poke fun at something that I view as a flaw. I am well aware of how you view me, and it humors me because your'e quite wrong. Believe what you want. Who do you think is more accurate in their assumptions of the other's personality? You or me? Who seems to be letting these back and forths get to him? You or me??
As for my responses and what they are based on, you're right and wrong. I can have a serious conversation without a problem. I seem to remember having some erac related conversations with you, but if you think a person's personality and attitude doesn't come into play when communicating, you know nothing about communication. I have actually agreed with much of what you have said previously--but just because I don't post 'yeah, JeahHo you're right' doesn't mean that I don't feel that way. I don't do that--especially with regards to you, because your ego is already big enough.
See, I've met people like you (or at least the picture I have of you). They focus so hard on getting their points across with polls, stats, and overly analytical deduction. They refuse to see the other person's argument because they deem it as illogical because common sense, actual experience, and a feelings make up their foundation of the point they may be trying to make. That is incomprehensible to someone like you. You focus on the words and careful arrangement of those words to try and belittle someone to the point where they simply concede. They walk away and you feel that you won and got your point across. Odds are you didn't. They most likely walk away because they just don't want to deal with you anymore. I'm sure you will just reply to this with the same arrogance as we've all come to know and love. Continue to be uptight--good luck with that. Very sad.

" Very sad."

I agree. Sad that even with the facts before you a twisting of the situation is attempting to be made. Sorry I had to point it out, just found it funny. Spin it how you like, it just proved what I have been thinking all along.

"I have actually agreed with much of what you have said previously--but just because I don't post 'yeah, JeahHo you're right' doesn't mean that I don't feel that way."

Very sweet. What many of your ERAC haters do is pounce on people that have a varying viewpoint and attempt to attack them at a personal level, but not as an individual with a point to make, as a mob that picks and pokes at people from the crowd. You and a couple of your buddies have been receiving the same from me for the last couple days. Not a whole lot of fun is it?

I will attempt to control myself as this is probably getting to the point where it isn't much fun to read, and my point has been made, again. Call me arrogant if you wish, your an idgit.

Oh hell, why bother? Everyone is getting a real kick out of watching you squirm. And the only point you have made is what an arrogant, myopic robot you are.

Squirm, why squirm? Your boy is squirming as his stupidity is dragged kicking and screaming into the light.

And big words still don't make you cool Former. You are a loser too.
