Driving my car for ERAC business???

I don't blame Andy for it, as much as the current corporate mantra of trimming every dollar to make sure your own wallet is fat. This minor expenditure would never even be seen in corporate, because the corporate cut is taken from the branch overhead, whether they make money or not. This really only affects the BM, who is close to breaking even and thinks he can screw his MTs by not paying the hours and just gives them a couple bucks and gas and tries to make them think that "back in the day" they didn't even get that.

I have witnessed this plenty of times. And i always let them know..."Don't even THINK about asking me to use my car to go anywhere". We will sit in this damn branch and stare at each other or you call a taxi to run your errands. and you didn't hear, "go fill your gas tank up on us". If you get into a car accident while running their errands, do you think they will pay for it??? Do you think they will tell the insurance company you were doing "business work". NOPE! You wil be left out to dry................and pay for it on your own.

I blame Andy for it. Upper management often has a trickle down effect which can be traced all the way back to the CEO. A lot of penny pinching occurs and this is just one of many cases.
