Smoking

I stumbled across this and thought it was interesting. It is off the subject again, but don't bother posting and telling me that....because I already know. This ties into what I was saying before in this thread so take it for what it's worth.

Question 1:
If you knew a woman who was pregnant, who had 8 kids already, three who
were deaf, two who were blind, one mentally retarded, and she had
syphilis, would you recommend that she have an abortion?


Question 2:
It is time to elect a new world leader, and only your vote counts. Here
are the facts about the three leading candidates.

Candidate A -

Associates with crooked politicians, and consults with astrologists.
He's had two Mistresses. He also chain smokes and drinks 8 to 10
martinis a day.

Candidate B -
He was kicked ou t of office twice, sleeps until noon, used opium in
college and drinks a quart of whiskey every evening.

Candidate C -

He is a decorated war hero. He's a vegetarian, doesn't smoke, drinks an
occasional beer and never cheated on his wife.

Which of these candidates would be your Choice?




Candidate A: is Franklin D. Roosevelt.

Candidate B: is Winston Churchill.

Candidate C: is Adolph Hitler.



And the answer to the abortion question: If you said yes,
you just killed Beethoven.

That was me above...

I can't stand smoke. I couldn't stand it when my co-workers took cigarette break after cigarette break after cigarette break, etc... I didn't think it was fair for the rest of us to have to pick up the slack left by the brake-taking smokers in the world who were trying to counter dodge.

At a company like Enterprise, you are better off not smoking. If you aren't an aggressive go-getter you will be looked down on. Other than a little beer drinking, Enterprise is a pretty squeeky clean company with few smokers.

I too am an ex-smoker and I can't stand smoke either. It has no place at Enterprise or anywhere for that matter. If you smoke it is pretty much career suicide anywhere in the corporate world. I loved how Trump unabashedly said he'd fire anyone who chewed tobacco. I'd bet he'd say the same thing about smoking. Smokers beware. Quit or work construction!

Turns out everyone at my branch smokes, including the area manager who's office is there. It's all good. :)

Hey Heartland, The reason why I know it is bitter is because my wife makes me kiss her after she blows me, and there is still a bit of chum left in her mouth.
