Women And African Americans in Atlanta Group 03

The Good Ol Boy System is alive and rampant in Atlanta. I currently am a branch manager in the Atlanta Group 03 WW Region. Out of 40 branches there are only 3 African American branch managers. Also there are only 4 women managers. Yesterday, we had our branch manager meeting in Woodstock to discuss our new pay plan due to the fact that our RVP has such poor perforance. I am now taking a $3,000 pay cut. The company need new branch managers in branches 12, X4, 02, 03, and 68. Currently these poor excuses for managers are ridiculous.

You didn't get screwed cause your female or black...You got screwed on your pay raise because someone at the top wants to go back to NY and keeps getting turned down. Rentention below 50% (and they can't figure out why!!!!)...manager's that don't perform but they keep to bump up retention...WW doesn't have enough cars, not enough people, and the pay sucks...that's why ESQi sucks. It's definitely gonna go even further down.

They got mad at ELCO and started complaining because ELCO is getting so many inquiries about hiring....better hours, better pay, more slack rules and dress code.

Ya'll got screwed, that's definitely for sure.

My gosh, a quick look down the list of people promoted there in the last 5 years would show just the opposite.

whats up, its good to see a few 03'ers on here. I'm in the NN region, and sh!t sucks! a few folks have been quitting recently, most notably an ARM and a remarketing supervisor...we cant even keep mts long and a couple Asts have dropped out. I've been looking for a job somewhere else for the longest (Atlanta, the best job market?! are you serious?) and i cant find anything that is not just as crappy or similarly as rental that pays at least 35-40k. any ideas are helpful...the guarantees are carsales, insurance adj or similar, other rental company, commission sales or sales rep, pharmaceuticals, retail management, hotel hospitality. and all of those have bad drawbacks one way or another. what ever happened to that good ole 9-5

Will you lot please stop bitching, and least you have a decent used car market to back you up with flip, and i`m guessing you don`t have other car rental companies playing "who can lose the most money by quoting stupidly low rates to anyone who asks". Most of us in the Uk are struggling to make OP, and when flip is shit, net resukt will be lots of vacancies!Watch this space!

The true count in 03WW is 7 Female Branch Managers, 1 Female Area Mgr, 1 Female LCAM, and 3 African-American Branch Managers, 2 A-A Area Mgrs. There are definitely some managers who suck and need to go, and definitely some who are not nearly as good as they think they are, especially one in particular. Favorites are played, and people will always be lucky or have good timing.

You are all lost souls, one day you will realize life is not so easy. The number of AA in upper mgmt in this region is probably one of the best in the company! Yea the Rvp might be tough but he does care about his people. Thanks for making my job tougher by being so negative and spreading rumors. Maybe its you that sucks! And before you say I am brain washed, I have a different name for it, I am successful! ***holes!
