So who fires a Grp Rental Manager. Was it Tony or someone from corporate? I assume someone out of group will be going for this job. I can't see them promoting within this time around. Which sucks for people like a McGavern. Anyone else in 05 qualified?

They won't promote anyone. They will realign the cities between Sturdi and Ummel. Dwayne was getting paid too much, Peterson and McKinnis found an excuse to pay themselves more by eliminating a high salary.

No one has seen an email regarding the opening yet. With Tony firing everyone, and Peterson sitting around scratching her balls and talking a big game, there's really no way in hell they would bring in a new city manager when the group is making no money whatsoever. This is where the 2 morons that are running GP 05 are stupid. You can put a short term fix on things by firing good people, but it's not going to help your bottom line with any significance. And isn't being overpaid and not doing much what they sell you whne you get hired, you could make your 6 figures within 2 years, while playing golf and taking accounts to lunch? Kureka was doing nothing but living what Enterprise sells to it's incoming employees, I wonder now that he's gone if recruiting will start telling employees the actual facts of "E"

6 in 10 will be gone within 6 months
8 in 10 will be gone within a year
9 in 10 will be gone within 3 years
1 in 150 will become an Asst Mgr
1 in 1000 will become a Branch Manager
1 in 5,000 will ever interview to become an Area Manager
1 in 25,000 will have a shot of city manager

A little hard to swallow for the promising career they bring you into.

It is a good choice of words, and very close to reality. Here's the thing, and it was mentioned a few posts back. Shit rolls down hill, gotta start at the top. One of these days, there will be no one left to fire, and McKinnis and Peterson will be the next to go. Yeah, that will be awhile, but too many good people have been canned that have shown dedication to the company (Estell, Ledoux, demotion of Barackman, etc). I'm not standing up for Dwayne by any means, because he was indeed lazy and it was a matter of time before Tony got tired of him. But seriously, there is going to be a time when there will be no else left to fire, and Narike will turn the tables on Dumb and Dumber. Hopefully....

The fact is....there are very few people left that were in a management role before Tony came in....the controller, and 2 city managers that I can think of. We'll eliminate she-male out of this one, becase of the Level 4, Tony really can't touch her job. So that only leaves 2 more people left before the blame will start falling down.

Barackman and Ronnau better just be lucky that the numbers are so bad that the company couldn't afford their severance, otherwise they'd be without a job instead of just demoted.
