Default Anybody Here From Group 06?

Hello All,

We haven't seen much traffic from this Group, and we haven't yet created a separate forum for this Group either.

So, what's going on in this group?

Group 06 is the biggest freaking joke in Texas. You damn near have to come up with a urine sample to rent a car out of group 06. They require all of these riduculous documents for cash and debit card customers in the hope that it will curtail people from becoming conversions. But guess what?? It doesn't. I am also thinking about writing my congressman and telling him my constituional rights are being violated, more specifically, 13th amdendment rights because I am getting paid slave wages. I did the math and for the hours I worked last month and the check I got, it comes up to about $6/hour. I sure I could work the local drive-thru and do better with my college degree!! ERAC sucks big ones!!!!

As someone that left Group 06 a few years ago...if you're still stuck working for this company or specifically in this group, please, please, please...stop delaying your life. Get out now! It might be a scary thought to leave your job, but everyday of your life beyond that point will be better. This is from someone that had success and left as a BRM.

Group 06 is horrendous from top to bottom. Apparently, everyone in upper management attended the "selling the dream" conference, because that is all those do. They sell the dream while the rest of us living in reality have to deal with the fact that with college degrees they cannot pay rent, car notes, or feed their families. Smug bastards!!!!

Here, here! My ARM is a dimwitted jackoff who kisses the behind of our regional rental manager! I can't wait to quit this loser job.

GP0699 has serious issues. I have been gone for sometime now, but I hear the horror stories - back-stabbing managers, demotions, etc. I am so glad I am gone - better pay, shorter commute, less stress, and happier working environment.

what a joke, i work in group 06 region E. im sure i have worked with or know some of u who have posted on here. i have worked at 2 branches one of which was 0640 bush airport. enterprise recently lost the best manager that they had in my opinion and didnt even attempt to retain him/her. im just a lowly MT so i know nothing, but they messed up there. I also had a friend at 0640 who took an assisstants job and made less than he/she did as an MT. what a freakin joke. ITS A PROMOTION!!!!! PULL YOUR HEAD OUT OF YOUR ASS. the manager i was talking about, who quit, was an AM and took the job as a BM and if he/she had a really good month then they would make as much as they did as an AM. ridiculous. Im looking for another job, while holding down my post as a very lifeless and apathetic MT. as are about 12-15 employees that i know, and thats just people that i have worked with, and half are level 2s or higher...lol.

I recently left ERAC due to what Two Weeks Notice said in his message and I can tell you several things:

1. My check that I get for 1 week of work at my new job is about the same as what I was getting for two weeks base pay as a Branch Manager.

2. I work from 7am - 3:30pm 5 days a week and don't deal with ridiculous customers.

3. The "money carrot" that upper management in ERAC dangles out there for its employees is great if you're the one sitting back collecting a fat paycheck while everybody else in the trenches is getting paid the equivalent to a bag boy in a grocery store.

4. I was worried about making the switch to a different job for fear that the same problems would exist.....IT WAS THE BEST THING I EVER DID!!!

The amount of garbage that you, as an employee of ERAC, have to put up with is not worth what you get paid and I'm telling you from experience that the grass IS greener on the other side.
