I left FS there about a year ago, and you're right. I got worse. Tom Gresham was promoted to Controller of 99 from FS and apparently got there and cleaned house. I always liked Bob, and I liked Tom until about a month before I left. You and I probably crossed paths numerous times, congratulations on getting out. I've been a lot happier and stress free since I left. They can have that hell hole.

Yes, I heard he cleaned house with ultimatums to Kevin and Mecca but his "golden child" Glen A. remains. I did not have much interaction with Tom when he was in FS. Yes, we probably crossed pass many times.

Get out! Taking the crap from "E" is not worth it. There are plenty of employers paying more for less work and less ass kissing.

The only way you can move up there is to kiss ass and get in with the management 'in crowd'. If not, McNair will pretend you don't exist unless he comes to you to complain about something. That guy is the worst excuse for a manager I've ever heard of....how he has a job there still is beyond me. If Brett Nann would wake up and put a real leader there as the RVP, it could make a profitable office into an extremely profitable office. He (McNair)doesn't have anyone's respect at all, and that office will always suffer while he works there.

I heard that management is throwing a baby shower for one of their favorites, and is spending quite a bit of $$ for drinks, presents, etc. However, there is someone else there who is pregnant who is not one of management's favorites, and she isn't even getting a shower. How fair is that? Just goes to show you, you have to either kiss ass or be a hot chick to get anywhere.

If you can, get out now. You'll notice the level of turnaround in that office cycles about 75% a year. Make sure to be part of that turnover.

I have never understood why McNair is still there. Supposingly, his numbers are pretty good - how he gets them, I would not assume ethically.

On another note, have you ever seen him drive? On several occasions, I thought he was going to hit someone in the parking lot. No telling how many accidents he has had in his dealer provided vehicle.

Yes, I have seen him drive. Horrible. He lives his whole life in super-speed fast motion.

I heard that his 'dealer-provided' vehicle is no longer a loaded Navigator. Somehow they reduced his vehicle selection list, and I heard he is stuck in a base-model Explorer. While that would be nice to a lot of people, he and his "high horse" don't fit to well in an Explorer. I can imagine that he is probably embarrassed to have to drive a vehicle that is 'below him' (in his mind). I hope his snobby friends at the Houstonian are making fun of him for driving up in that.

Hot chick if you like fake boobs and black roots!! naw, she's cool though. the gossip is that she is unlikely to return from maternity leave. if she doesn't 89 ASM Dain is going to lock himself in his office never to be seen again, unless he gets Darren's RSM job when he leaves to start the Fleet Services in Austin. And as much money as McNair makes, you would think he could come up with something other than a candy cane for X-mas. I am so miserable there as well as many others. I know people on both sides (admin and sales), including myself looking for a job.

Have you seen McNair's Barbie doll wife? Now, you know where all his money goes including the housekeeper, nanny, and country club dues.
