Wondering If Any Current/former Erac-ers Could Give Me Some Pointers On Updating My Resume. I'm In The Process Of Finding Something Else/new/better And Need To Fill In That Space Under Erac Slave With Some Really Nice Bs So That My New Employer Could See What A Great Job/waste Of Time The Past Year Has Been For Me.

This Is Actually A Serious Post, And As Much As You Guys And Gals Out There Would Love To Respond With Something Funny And Sarcastic That Is In Some Way Or Another Bashing Erac, I Really Would Appreciate Some Real Answers. Much Obliged. By The Way, Group 07 Can Suck My Taint. :)

I agree, it is sad that a great person like SM cannot see how manipulative she is (AM) she is the smartest person I know, problem is she doesn't use it to help others, but herself. anyone who worked for her knows, she has no friends, gets no respect from any employees and her jealousy of other women will always be a problem and she will find ways to get them out of her way. if you can avoid working for her, please do. Enterprise can be a great company but people like her ruin it. Ever since RW, Gav.CD, KM, AN in upper management left, group 07 has no more appreciation for their staff. what goes around comes around JC I mean JL....

what to put on your resume? any company knows if you worked for erac you: are willing to work extreme hours, have no personal life, are willing to get raped on your pay, are young and ambitious. that's why they love it! oh and it doesn't matter at what level you were, trust me, an MT looks just as good as an AM or BM--- group 07 there will be a lot of people leaving, start pulling in the poor kids from school to be ready for your retentionhits!

If you want to continue a career in sales, (well, real sales...waive wasn't exactly selling) you need to put numbers on your resume. Include things like average upsell$$$/car and percentage of monthly DW sales. Any special recognition by your area? Include it too. Marketing accomplishments? How many corporate accounts did you set up? Anything that stands out or that you were really strong in should be included on your rez. Also, don't be afraid to put together a brag book. Companies like to see recognition from the public or company for your efforts. You also may want to put together an excel spreadsheet that shows your upsell dollars and cdw sales compared to the "average" numbers put up the branch...these are just some ideas for you. I wish you the best of luck in your job search.

My first impression of how this company promotes was enough to make me, and another MA from my office quit. This girl was hands down the biggest bitch I have ever met, which is a bold statement comming from a bitch like myself! She could never stop bragging about her sales, and how she was the best. NO ONE liked her, she had the type of personality that just rubbed everyone the wrong way. She was rude to customers and once actually had to be pulled away from the counter because she was yelling at a customer. She also sold unethically...you know adding it into the price when quoting a reservation. I kept my mouth shut knowing it would only be a matter of time before she was fired. Turns out she was promoted AM at a branch with a different area manager. My office acually celebrated because she was hated that much. Turns out my area manager didn't want to lose his retention ratings so he opted to promote her to another area just to get her out of his hair.
Now how does this look to a newly hired MT? This girl should have been fired on several occasions, and instead was promoted. Turns out a few months after she was promoted they wanted to demote her. Everyone in her new office hated her and many even threatened to quit. She quit before it actually happened.
The point of this (sorry for the length) is a sure fire example of how this multi million dollar company handles situations such as this one. I like to refer to it as sweeping the problem under the rug instead of dealing with it head on.

Look for a position with a major uniform company. 1st hand knowledge. Insiders with this company joke about ERAC employees by saying, they can work half the hours and get paid double to start, why wouldnt they want to come here. In four years I quintupled my ERAC income, and I sucked at selling DW. Hee hee hee...

When HR (KM) was fire, did she cry like a big bitch? Gosh, I remember she used to put massive amount of hair spray every hour or so. How much bigger of a hair do you want? Why did the MT get into a fight over her? I thought she is pretty old and ugly. Not to mention she used to wear tight suit that never fit with bright color thinking she was on Miami Vice. Did both MT get fire as well? Please give me the juicy scoop!!!

At ERAC you wash cars, deal with pissed off total customers, see unethical deals go down to make a buck or two, hear the ERAC catch phrases that brainwash new employees, chase false promises, see Level III's take a numerous amount of vacation time, hear all the reason's why you shouldn't be a pharma rep (the reason they know so much about being a rep is because they were turned down when they tried to break into the field) and listen to GRM's talk about how much money you'll make.

At XYZ pharmaceuticals you get a company car with gas paid for (a 2006 model), talk with professionals who need intelligent conversations, work the way you want to work and get help when you are not performing, one straw of unethical behavior will get a person fired, get paid close to six figures, get your MBA paid for (or any education that relates to your future with XYZ), and have your manager tell you that you need more work-life balance.

What a difference a day makes!!!!

Not to jump on big Pharma, but Im a sales manager for a Fortune 500 company and former ERAC employee. I get people every day applying to my company wanting to get out of Pharm.

An outsiders view on pharm: You get paid better than ERAC but not great to be a PR rep, not a sales person. Yes you get a company car, but you spend your days bringing subway lunches to doctors that dont want to see you any way. They give you 30 secconds of their time while you pimp your drugs, and try to make them write scripts for your products, without regards for the patients needs. All they want are the free samples, if you think differently you're kidding yourself. Walking in to talk to that bitch of an office manager will just about make you puke, but I have to see her every other week, but Dr. Jhgfjuwtfiuwt is nice for the 8 secconds he gives me while signing for his drugs. The day goes by the whole time wishing you worked for a better drug company, and hating the people in your "pod" who are not pulling their weight.

Im not slamming Pharm jobs, but it just shows that there is more than one view on the situation

By the way ERAC sucks...
