Thats how it feels, YOU are a slave working for a low low wage. No one is happy there, and no ones makes it. FUCK THEM FUCK SCOTTY Mar???
I cannot believe I lasted 1 year at ERAC. The only thing that kept me going was other MTs were really cool, and I still keep in contact with them. I have so many horror stories to tell, I could write a book. For any one considering working for ERAC dont. It is a sweat shop. Upper management does not care about you or your family. God forbid you get sick or have a family emergency. I used to work in Orlando Group 07. Every office was understaffed and overworked. The people that act like they like really do not, but they have been brainwashed and fed the ERAC dream until they breakdown.
A typical day consisted of arriving @ 7:00am. At my office we would scurry to account for cars dropped of at mutiple dealerships, while taking calls for customer pickups and customer drop offs. They recently took all of our drivers away so, being short staffed already we would have to take customers home, sometimes being gone for 30-45 minutes. Now if you left at the office alone which happened quit frequently you were SUPPOSED to take care of any customers walking in, ALWAYS answer the phone before two rings (even if you had a customers right in fron of you) and make reservations eventhough you KNOW you did not have a car available. Upper managemant would call you,( and add more stress) to make sure you were booking reservations, and if you said you were all booked up (which is the truth) they would call back and bitch you out. I cannot tell you how many times I rented a dirty car. Not because I wanted to, but alot of time you do not have time to clean them, because you are always over promising. All day everyday you are taught to overpromise. And if you did not you were considered a slacker or not agressive. There are days when no one takes a lunch and get this if you complain, (like i did) you area manager tells you to be a team player. (missing lunch happened alot) They buy pizza and you try to eat it as you work. ( you start to get scattered brain throughout the day). I used to wake up in the middle of the night hearing phones ringing, it really sucked. This happened allday every day, and all this does not include the grief from the customers. That's a whole nother story. Basically you work 55-60 hrs a week. Make about $870- $940 evrey 2 weeks, depending on your 401k and health benefits. You have no personal life because you are always tired.(caused problems in my relationship, my girl could not wait for me to quit) You get shit from customers- dirty car! why isnt my car ready! I did not rez that car! I do not like white cars! I need a car with power windows but do not want to pay upgrade! You were late picking me up! Get shit from customers because there mad at the dealership! Then get shit from upper management for ESQI, CDW sales, customer disputes and income issues. Also being a liar, is key to becoming uppermanagement. They all do it to keep the machine rolling. GET OUT GET OUT!!! I am currently working in the staffing industry and we place people with no education or work history in light industrial jobs for at least $11.00 an hr. Gives me another perspective. ALL in ALL ERAC is a joke praying on the hopes of new college grads. NO Ones makes it, No Ones happy there. The sooner you
