Default The Company that leaves their employees on the side of the road.

One time a company event (0929) was planned with a local body shop in Fort Worth, TX. I did not want to attend due to the long days we were having but was forced into the event by pressure from upper level management in that area. I showed up and was just going to hang out for a little bit but was told it didn’t look good for an enterprise worker not to have a beer in their hands while hosting an event. I was forced to have a beer by upper management and I stayed for 3 more but when I left I was very tired and wanted to get home so I could get up the next day for the grind. The police pulled me over for going 10 miles over the speed limit and the end result was being charged with a DWI for blowing .089 and the legal limit is .08. Enterprise led their own investigation and asked if I had any of the shots that 0905 was buying and told them no. I was grilled by 09CC and was told that I had to beat the charges and not have them dropped to lesser charges. Which was grand since they didn’t offer to pay any of my legal fees or court costs.

I knew that if it wasn’t an ERAC event that caused me to get a DWI; I would have been fired on the spot. But they were scared because of all the liability that could have been involved. I was told to win it or get fired on more than one occasion by the Top Dog of CC. When I finally left the company @ 0999 on my last day of work HR informed me that was an illegal statement that shouldn’t have been made. Rather a decision would be made on the final outcome of the court and ERAC’s evaluation of me. The Top Dog of 09CC was just trying to cover his ass and intimidate me out of the company. Enterprise let me down and this is the one of many stories that will come out of 09CC…and what you will come to learn as the most organized pyramid scheme in our time.

hey want did you have more than one beer, if you really did not want to drink you should have just sipped on one of them. it's not erac's fault you got a dui, its yours and take responsibility for your own actions.

09CC RVP is an ass. He tried the same stuff when I worked there. I was one of the top producers there for 2 years and then he tried to fire mebecause some suck up MT made something up that I told him to change the expiration date on an expired card and charge it, not to mention for recalculating mileage, which is always done throughout the whole group. So He, the Area Manager, and the HR manager call me into a meeting after I was told by the Area Manager that everything was going to be fine, well after 45 minutes of the converstion, the RVP, decides he wants to make it seem like I stole money from the company by recalculating mileage, rather than writing it off to bad debt. He said "I don't know where we are going to go with this, and your current manager does not want you on his team, and I do not want you on my team". That did it there, I took my keys and phone and slammed it on his desk and told him that he could kiss my ass for the 2 and a half years of hard work I out into the company. They told me to pick up my phone and keys and go home and they would call me and let me know. So about 9 that night I get a call from the RVP that I was going to get written up and that I was not fired, but I had it already in my mind that I was going to quit, which I did a month later. The moral to the whole story is that upper management gets pressure from their management and at the time the RVP was feeling the stress from his boss, Chris Gould, and the RVP thought he needed to make an example of someone. The RVP and the MT, if they read this, can both go to hell. The RVP of 09CC should have been booted out of the door back in 2003, but he has close ties with the Taylor's, so it is probably not in the best interest for 09 to fire his ass. Maybe 09CC will win an Exceptional Achievement award once your gone. I hope he felt like an ass in Orlando, when every 09 region receive one and he did not. Better luck next time, loser.
