New head exec coming to GP14

I don't know what position will be given, but Kurt Klebe, I hear is on his way to GP14. You'd better be prepared to book, book, book. Don't worry about not having cars, book every reservation. If you want to start kissing ass he loves airport locations, corporate accounts, aggressive managers that like to party. Don't ever - ever say no in front of him. Also, Kurt will throw down with the best of them. His party hat is on all the time, but area manager be aware that he will stick you with the bill.

The title Kurt Klebe will be given is "Regional Daily Rental Manager," essentially overseeing the group rental managers. Do you guys know what group he came from, and from what position?

Are you sure that's correct? Wouldn't that be a step down from Regional Vice President? Anyway - he comes from 53AA.

Yes, I'm certain this is correct. We received an email approximately 1 week ago notifying our group of our new Regional Dailv Rental manager I'm assuming this is the same title as Regional VP, with this position being responsible of all aspects of daily rental. Our current VP/GM is Alexis Hocevar, a position he has held for quite some time.

I would imagine that he has been promoted to VP of Daily Rental for 14, to be demoted from RVP does not make sense, they would just remove him from the company. VP of DR is a step up from RVP, and a good step towards GM.

That sounds more like it. Kurt will be a GM in 3 years easily. Too bad he's out of touch with his admin. He loves rental, but forgets everyone else. Also, it's going to be easy to improve growth numbers compared to last year. GP14 got hammered in August with Katrina - so KK will be a hero when he has 500% fleet growth.

So...what's the dirt on this guy? Everyone in group 14 seems to party...

Yeah, they sure do like to party.. i've been with the company (Group 14) for only a few months, and it's been a rather interesting experience thus far... it's almost 'required' that you attend the happy hours.. I mean, for goodness sake .. I see my co-workers freakin' 55 hours a week.. i'm not really thrilled to see yah for another 3 while buzzed.. granted, it is free alcohol but I typically pass on these events.. Hmm, does anyone else feel me?

So what's been going on in Group 14? Anyone have the scoop regarding how Mr. Klebe is fitting in to the group?
